“Seek Yahweh while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts and let him return to Yahweh, and He will have compassion on him. Turn to our Elohim, for He will abundantly pardon.”

Isaiah 55: 6-7

The Closing Section of His Name is Yahweh: Comfort Print Edition

The book isn’t published yet, but I can already tell you what the closing section of His Name is Yahweh: Comfort Print Edition will be. As a SnyderTalk reader, I am giving you a sneak peek:

Yahweh Made Salvation as Easy as Possible

Yahweh made salvation as easy as possible. Even so, I have a strong hunch that most people won’t be saved.

I’m not Yahweh. He is the Judge. I’m judging by what I see with my eyes, but Yahweh sees hearts.

Paul did say this, though:

“Only the remnant will be saved.” (Romans 9: 27)

Throughout the Scriptures, Yahweh refers to a remnant. The word remnant means a small part of the whole.

In Matthew 22:14, the Messiah said,

“For many are called, but few are chosen.” (Matthew 22:14)

The few that are chosen are the remnant.

Yahweh made it perfectly clear that His Name is crucially important in the salvation process, and He did it repeatedly. In Isaiah 42: 8, He told us His Name as succinctly as He could:

“I am Yahweh, that is My Name.” (Isaiah 42: 8)

Yahweh told Jeremiah exactly what the Messiah’s Name is:

“And this is His Name by which He will be called, ‘Yahweh our Righteousness.’” (Jeremiah 23: 6)

That’s as clear as it can be. The Messiah is Yahweh.

In the latter part of the Book of Isaiah starting at chapter 42, a lot is said about the Messiah and by the Messiah. Isaiah 42: 8 is just one example.  Any child of Elohim should make it a point to become familiar with Isaiah, especially the latter part and chapters 9, 11, and 53.

While He was with us in Person, the Messiah told us exactly who He is. He left no room for doubt. For example, in John 8:58, He said,

“Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM.” (John 8:58)

The phrase “was born” in John 8:58 is not a good translation. It should read “Before Abraham came into being” or “Before Abraham existed”. In other words, the Messiah said that He created Abraham. Thus, He is the Creator.

“I AM” is the definition of the Name Yahweh, and Yahweh is the Creator. Having read this far, you know why He didn’t say “Yahweh” on that occasion.

In Isaiah 43:11, Yahweh told us in the most straightforward and simple way possible that He is the One and Only Savior:

“I, even I, am Yahweh. There is no savior besides Me.” (Isaiah 43:11)

Yahweh told His prophet Joel exactly what people need to do to be saved:

“And it will come about that whoever calls on the Name of Yahweh will be delivered/saved.” (Joel 2:32)

When Peter and Paul explained salvation, they didn’t deviate one iota from the message Yahweh gave Joel:

  • Peter: “And it shall be that everyone who calls on the Name of Yahweh will be saved.” (Acts 2:21)
  • Paul: “Whoever will call on the Name of Yahweh will be saved.” (Romans 10:13)

In Acts 4:12, Peter delivered that message so clearly that you need help to be confused. He said,

“And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

I have presented this message to groups both large and small hundreds of times over more than two decades. I hate to think about how many times churchgoers have told me, “I don’t get it. It’s so confusing.”

Nothing about Yahweh’s message is confusing!

Churchgoers are confused because they have not heard Yahweh’s message from the pulpit, from people who profess to represent Him.  When churchgoers hear Yahweh’s message from people like me and realize that it conflicts with the things their preachers are telling them in church, of course they are confused.

Churchgoers should be asking their preachers why they haven’t heard this message in church since it is THE CENTRAL MESSAGE in the Bible. Do they not realize that they have a role to play in their own salvation? Everything they need to know is in the Bible. They should read it.

Even if churchgoers talked with their preachers, most of them would still be confused. If Yahweh’s army was made up of people like most of the preachers I have known, Satan would win.  Thankfully, Yahweh is not dependent on preachers today any more than He was dependent on the religious leaders in Jerusalem while He was with us in Person.

In the end, Yahweh will win despite stubborn, self-willed preachers. All He wants and needs is a few good men and women, and He has them in the palm of His hand.

It pains me to think about how many times preachers have told me that editing Yahweh’s Name out of the Bible and teaching that we have salvation in the name Jesus are not serious problems. That’s not what Yahweh said…again and again and again.

Preachers who say that are deluding themselves.

There may be many reasons why preachers might not want to share the truth about Yahweh’s salvation message. I have listed a few of them below. Some or all of them might apply to any preacher you know:

  • He may not know the truth because it wasn’t taught in his seminary.
  • He believes that if it was important, it would have been taught in his seminary.
  • He is too lazy to do the work required to discover the truth on his own.
  • He is too busy doing other things to delve deeply into something that he thinks is a trivial matter.
  • He knows the truth, but he questions his ability to challenge church tradition and survive the ordeal.
  • He knows the truth, but he is afraid that he might be fired if he tells it.
  • He thinks he knows the truth, but he won’t take a stand until he thinks he’s in the mainstream because it’s safer running with the pack.

It makes me think about something Dennis Kinlaw said. Kinlaw was a renowned preacher, evangelist, and seminary president. He said:

“Satan disguises submission to himself under the ruse of personal autonomy…the shift in commitment is never from Christ to evil; it is always from Christ to self. And instead of his will, self-interest now rules and what I want reigns. And that is the essence of sin.”

I think many preachers put themselves first. If their goal is to lead people to the Messiah, then they need to begin by telling their congregations who the Messiah is. He is Yahweh. Given Yahweh’s supreme importance in salvation, failing to deliver that message is as selfish as a preacher can be. He is putting his own interests ahead of the people he hopes to lead to Yahweh.

Yahweh’s message about salvation is the most redundant message in the Bible.  He never deviates from it, not even a little bit.  There is no Bible verse that even hints at the possibility that Yahweh’s Name is not important.  Funny thing, though.  Preachers who tell me that the Name is not important give me a smug smile when they boldly declare that “their church” is a “Bible-believing church”.

Hogwash! This message is all over the Bible.

I must admit that I am confused, too. I have a difficult time understanding why preachers would completely ignore what Yahweh said and repeated so often in the Scriptures and then use a name for Him that was made up. Those preachers are preaching a foreign message, and as I said, the idea that they have “Bible-believing” churches is preposterous.

Yahweh has a message for Preachers and for everyone else, and He will deliver it Himself.  He already told us what the message is:

“Therefore behold, I am going to make them know — this time I will make them know My power and My might; and they shall know that My Name is Yahweh.” (Jeremiah 16:21)

The phrase “this time” in Jeremiah 16: 21 is prophetic. It refers to Yahweh’s return.  When He returns, there won’t be any confusion about who He is or how important His Name is and has been all along because He will tell us Himself.

I fear for preachers.  As a group, they don’t have a clue how much trouble they are in.  I would love to see them give Yahweh the same smug smiles so many of them have given me over the years.

Sometimes I feel the way Jeremiah must have felt when he told King Zedekiah what Yahweh told him to say. People who know nothing or practically nothing about Yahweh are more open to the truth about His Name than seminary trained preachers who should be easy to communicate with since this message comes straight from the Bible.

I guess that’s part of my training. Yahweh must be preparing me for what comes next.

The Messiah’s time with us in Person taught us many things, but this thing stands out in my mind: He taught us that religious leaders are a serious problem. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees” appears 8 times in Matthew 23. There is a reason for that.

“I am the good shepherd. I know My sheep and My sheep know Me — just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father — and I lay down My life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also. They too will listen to My voice, and there shall be one flock and one Shepherd. The reason My Father loves Me is that I lay down My life — only to take it up again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of My own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from My Father.”

John 10: 14-18
