President Trump to Maxine Waters, “Be careful.”

This is what Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) said that prompted President Trump to issue her a warning:

Malkin has had experience with Waters.  She provides a lot of background information that is very enlightening.

Maxine has been stirring up trouble for a very long time.  President Trump’s warning to Waters to “be careful” can’t be understood correctly unless it is viewed in a larger context.

The Louis Gates Incident

This incident occurred shortly after Obama was sworn into office.  Harvard University professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. came home late at night and had trouble opening his front door.  A neighbor could see that someone was trying to get into Gates’ house, but she couldn’t tell who it was.  Thinking it was an attempted break-in, she called the police.

A Cambridge, Massachusetts police officer was dispatched to the scene.  He confronted a person that he believed was attempting to enter Gates’ house illegally.

The police officer did his job properly, but rather than trying to straighten out the matter with the policeman and explaining that he was the owner of the house, Gates went into a tirade and accused the officer of racism.  Eventually, Gates was arrested.  He was released when the facts were explained and confirmed.

Obama’s kneejerk reaction to this incident before he knew the facts of the case was to say publicly that the policeman had “acted stupidly”.  This is exactly what Obama said:

“But I think it’s fair to say, No. 1, any of us would be pretty angry; No. 2, that the Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof that they were in their own home; and, No. 3 … that there’s a long history in this country of African-Americans and Latinos being stopped by law enforcement disproportionately.”

After the dust settled and the innocence of the police officer was understood, Obama invited Gates and the police officer to the White House for a beer, but the country was still in an uproar.  The damage had been done.  Obama couldn’t unring the bell.

The Michael Brown Incident

Michael Brown (a.k.a., Big Mike) was a 6-foot 4-inch, 292 pound, 18-year-old black boy.  He entered Ferguson Market in Ferguson, Missouri, stole a box of Swisher cigars, and shoved the cashier before leaving the store without paying.  The crime was caught on camera.

Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson was dispatched to the scene.  Many stories have been told about what happened when Wilson arrived on the scene, but we know this happened.  Brown reached into Wilson’s vehicle, scuffled with him, and attempted to take his pistol.  In the process, two shots were fired.  One of them hit Brown in the hand.

Brown attempted to flee.  Within seconds, he was shot and killed.  This is where the stories get murky.  Most witnesses say that Brown turned and ran toward Wilson in an aggressive, attack mode.  Others say that he was trying to surrender.  This is what we know: Brown was shot and killed.

In characteristic kneejerk fashion long before the facts were known, Obama took to the airwaves again and accused the Ferguson police of a racially motivated murder.  That set off days of looting and rioting in Ferguson.

The Michael Brown incident was just getting started, and it wouldn’t end until Ferguson paid Brown’s family $1.5 million dollars for “wrongful death”.  This is what The Hill said about the settlement:

First, Michael Brown robbed a store. Then he assaulted a policeman, fighting for the officer’s gun.

The officer was left badly bruised and worried he might lose consciousness.

Only when Brown charged once again did the officer fatally shoot him. As I show below, there is no debating the facts about the August 2014 shooting.

Yet, what has Ferguson, Missouri done?

On Saturday it was revealed that they “secretly” awarded Brown’s family a “wrongful death claim” of $1.5 million.

But if that doesn’t get you angry, look who is getting the money.

After a grand jury declined to indict Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson, Brown’s stepfather incited demonstrators to “Burn this motherf—er down” and “Burn this b–ch down.” At least 14 people were injured and twelve buildings set on fire in the ensuing violence.

Compensating people for legitimate harm done to them is one thing, but this $1.5 million payment raises serious questions.

Are Ferguson city officials worried about more violence if they don’t pay up?

While this might buy Ferguson some safety, will it cause others to seek big payoffs in other parts of the country?

After the shooting, President Obama told Americans that Michael Brown’s death “awakened our nation once again to the reality that [black people] have long understood” and that the shooting demonstrated why “too many young men of color feel targeted by law enforcement.”

Obama’s conclusion is horse manure.  Brown’s death awakened us to the fact that we had a racist in the White House who was using his perch to pump up racial animosity.  Stamping out the fires that Obama started will take awhile.

President Trump Didn’t Cause Our Problems, but it’s His Job to Solve Them

Our problems go back decades.  President Trump didn’t cause our problems, but it’s his job to solve them.

Rabble-rousers have been stoking the flames of racial hatred all along.  Barack Obama and Maxine Waters are two of them.  There are many others.

During his 8 long years in office, Obama galvanized radicals on the right.  He gave them just as much ammunition as he gave radicals on the left.  Both groups talk about “social justice”, but they come at it from different angles.  When the two groups meet, sparks fly.  The Charlottesville incident is a case in point.

See “The Charlottesville Incident: It was about Hate on the Left and Right” and “The “No Moral Equivalence” Argument is a Radical Left Con Job”.

Back to Maxine Waters and Leftist Extremists

Extremists on the left are acting out violently now ostensibly because they care about children being separated from their illegal immigrant mothers on our southern border.  Truth is they are acting out because that’s what they have been told to do by their leaders.

All of the leaders are Democrats.  Maxine waters his trying to position herself as the leader, but the Democrat Party and its supporters are the culprits.

This Thing is Far from Over

There are lessons in life that we should never forget.  This is one of them: You reap what you sow, more than you sow, and later than you sow.

For decades, our nation’s sores have been festering.  Barack Obama didn’t salve our wounds.  He opened them up and caused more pain and suffering.  In the process, he provoked the radical right.  That has been evident since the day President Trump was elected.

President Trump is trying to solve our problems with no Democrat support, lukewarm establishment Republican support, but strong support from the American people.

Democrats are fit to be tied.  Despite doing everything they can think of to stop the president, he keeps winning.  He’s winning now on the immigrant children separation problem, too, but it’s not obvious to everyone yet.  It will be.

When President Trump warned Maxine Waters to “be careful”, he was telling her about the consequences of her actions that involve the nation as a whole.  That’s his job.  That’s what he has to do.

Maxine Waters is too stupid to get the point.  So are many others.  After all, they are Democrats.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17: 22-24)
