Palestinian Lies Keep on Coming

See “Senior Palestinian Official: ‘Israel Stole Christmas from Us’”.

Saeb Erekat knows more about the Grinch than he knows about Christmas.

As a rule, I don’t like clichés, but this one is too perfect not to use: You can tell when a Palestinian leader is lying because his lips move.

The existence of a “Palestinian people” as an identifiable people group is based on lies.

Palestinians say that the Land of Israel has belonged to them “since time immemorial”, meaning time extending beyond the reach of memory, record, or tradition.

Palestinians as a people group didn’t exist until 1964 AD. Before that, they were just Arabs that no Arab country wanted.

Yasser Arafat, the originator of the Palestinian lie and its standard bearer, was an Egyptian. It goes downhill from there.

“Since time immemorial” is a world-class whopper.

Erekat also claims that “Jesus was a Palestinian”.

This year, Erekat claimed that “Jesus was a refugee”. So did Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. She’s a Democrat.

Democrats have a lot in common with Palestinians, but that’s another story.

Jesus is a direct descendant of Judah. That makes Him a Jew. He didn’t convert to Judaism and “become a Jew”. He’s the Real Deal.

Jewish religious leaders hated Jesus because He told them that they were a bunch of scoundrels who were ripping off the Jewish people, failing to do their job, and profaning Yahweh’s Name in the process.

Jesus told them those things openly in front of large crowds.  It’s no surprise the religious leaders were angry, but Jesus was right.

See His Name is Yahweh: Revised Edition.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem. So was King David.  He’s another direct descendant of Judah.

David didn’t convert to Judaism, either. Judaism wouldn’t come into existence until more than 300 years after David died.

Yahweh made Jerusalem Israel’s capital in about 1000 BC. Palestinians as a people group wouldn’t come on the scene for another 2600 years.

So much for “time immemorial”.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17: 22-24)
