Marc Lamont Hill is a Real Dumb Ass
Marc Lamont Hill was just fired by CNN. See “CNN drops Marc Lamont Hill after anti-Israel remarks at UN spark backlash”:
CNN announced Thursday that it had fired commentator Marc Lamont Hill after he gave a speech at the United Nations in which he used language critics describe as a dog whistle advocating the elimination of Israel.
“Marc Lamont Hill is no longer under contract with CNN,” a spokesperson for the cable network told Fox News.
Hill had come under criticism for his remarks during a Wednesday meeting of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People in observance of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. He accused the Israeli government of “normalizing settler colonialism” and called for a “free Palestine from the river to the sea,” a remark that got applause from participating diplomats.
At one point, Hill poured himself some water and told participants that he just got off a flight from “Palestine” and that “I was boycotting the Israeli water so I was unable to quench my thirst.”
“If we are standing in solidarity with the Palestinian people, we must recognize the right of an occupied people to defend itself,” Hill said during a portion of his speech comparing the Palestinian movement with the American civil-rights movement. ” We must prioritize peace, but we must not romanticize or fetishize it.”
On Thursday morning, Hill attempted to defend his remarks on Twitter. He wrote: “In my speech, I talked about the need to return to the pre-1967 borders, to give full rights to Palestinian citizens of Israel, and to allow right of return. No part of this is a call to destroy Israel. It’s absurd on its face.”
CNN Fired Hill because of the Backlash
CNN didn’t fire Hill because of what he did and said. He has been saying those reprehensible things for a long time, but he hasn’t gotten much attention. When he went to the U.N. and delivered his hate-filled address, people took notice, and there was an immediate and widespread backlash.
CNN is hemorrhaging cash. The Chicken Noodle Network can’t afford to lose sponsors. That’s why Hill was fired. If not for the backlash, Hill would still be shoveling out his drivel on CNN. Remember, CNN executives applauded Jim Acosta for his reprehensible behavior.

Marc Lamont Hill is a “Liberal Progressive” Democrat
Marc Lamont Hill thinks he’s a scholar. He’s many things, but scholar isn’t one of them.
Hill calls himself a “public intellectual”. That sounds ridiculous, but that’s what he says about himself.
I guess Hill is differentiating between public and private intellectuals. The difference is lost on me. I’ve followed him for many years. Hill isn’t an intellectual, period, public or private.
Marc Lamont Hill is a gadfly, an annoying person who provokes others incessantly. He’s also a “liberal progressive” Democrat. What he told the U.N. is exactly what the Democrat Party stands for.
Most Democrats are smart enough not to say publicly what Hill said even though they believe it. They understand that telling the truth in public about their positions on issues will cost them votes and dollars. Hill is a real Dumb Ass.
Don’t blame me. I didn’t choose the Democrat Party mascot.
In one sense, we owe Hill a debt of gratitude. He told the truth about the Democrat Party’s position on Israel, and he did it publicly for everyone to see. That is a rarity.
Christians and Jews who support Democrats need to wake up to reality. The Democrat Party is the Party of Perversity. The party’s leaders are liars to the core. The Democrat Party is a threat to the U.S. and to Israel.
Marc Lamont Hill is in Serious Trouble
Marc Lamont Hill doesn’t have a clue who he is up against. Yahweh is Israel’s Protector.
Hill thinks of himself as an activist, and he is an activist of the worst sort: the pseudo-intellectual, pseudo-scholar variety. He’s a lot like Barack Obama in that regard. Hill and Obama have two other things in common. Both of them love the limelight and both of them have big mouths.
Did you see the expression on Hill’s face at the end of his speech when he received enthusiastic applause from the rabble at the U.N.? The U.N. is dominated by predominantly Muslim Third World countries.
The people clapping come from shithole countries. That’s something Israel is not. The West Bank and Gaza are not shithole countries, either. They are shithole territories, and they have done it to themselves. Israelis try to help them, but every time they do, Palestinians bite their hands.
When people like Hill visit the West Bank and Gaza, they are treated like royalty and sold a bill of goods. Palestinians are world-class con artists. Hill’s Attention Starvation Disorder and his obsession with being seen in America as an important person did him in. He was easy pickings for Palestinian master shysters.
No sooner had Hill gotten off the plane from the Middle East than he was at the U.N. repeating the lies he was told. I’ve been exploring Israel for more than 2 decades. Over the years, I’ve talked with hundreds of Palestinians. I’ve heard the same lies that Hill heard more times than I care to count. Unlike Hill, I did my homework and learned that it was just Palestinian propaganda.
That’s one of the reasons I know that Hill is a lightweight intellect. Candidly, I hate using the word “intellect” in the same sentence with Hill’s name even when I modify it’s meaning with the word “lightweight”.
Hill would have been well-advised to meet with some Israeli Arabs while he was there. I’ve talked with hundreds of them, too. Hill should have asked them what kind of people so-called “Palestinians” are. For that matter, he should have visited Jordan and asked ordinary Jordanians what kind of people so-called “Palestinians” are. I’ve done that as well.
Israeli Arabs and Jordanians would have given Hill an earful. Every place Palestinians have or have had control, the same thing happens. Since the notion of a “Palestinian people” came into being in 1964, they have been in a constant state of war against everyone including their own people.
The expression on Hill’s face when he meets Yahweh Face-to-face will be priceless. At this point, he doesn’t know that his hunger for attention got the better of him, and he is now Yahweh’s enemy. Hill has no idea what that means, but he will…one day.
