Societal Breakdown in France: Is Civil War Sure to Follow?

11.30am – 481 people arrested, 211 remanded in custody

French Interior Minister Edouard Philippe tells journalists that 481 people have so far been arrested and 211 have been remanded in custody as violence between the ‘yellow vests’ and police starts to take hold of Saturday’s protests in Paris. 

At the same time during last Saturday’s protest there had been 412 arrests.

11am – Yellow vests trying to block traffic on Paris’s Porte Maillot dual carriageway 

A group of yellow vests who were stopped from reaching Paris’s Place de l’Etoile because they refused to take off their protective gear (helmets, masks and safety goggles) are now blocking traffic on the Parisian péripherique road. Police are in the process of dispersing the group. 

10.30am – Tear gas fired at yellow vests near the Champs-Elysees

Police have used tear gas for the first time this Saturday to disperse a crowd of yellow vests near the the Champs-Elysées. Arrests are now up to 354.

This is happening right now all over France. The picture above was taken in Paris today.

This is just the beginning.  The end is nowhere in sight.

French President Macron thought that he could do whatever he wanted and that French people would go along without making a fuss. He was wrong.

If anything, French people waited too long to say “enough is enough”.  Think of today’s violence in France as a release of pressure that has been building for decades.

The U.S. isn’t far behind France. At this point, only the lunatics on the left are acting out violently. That can change in a heartbeat.  It will change in a heartbeat unless political leaders pay attention and act responsibly.

Who more than any other American is responsible for the war on cops in the U.S.?

When did the war on cops begin?

Who more than any other American is responsible for sanctuary cities, the war on ICE, and young “liberal progressive” terrorists rampaging in the streets.

The answer to those questions is revealing.  Pressure has been building in the U.S. for a long time, too.

Global Societal Breakdown

All of Europe is falling apart.  The rest of the world is in trouble, too.

It’s societal breakdown on a global scale. It’s contagious. The problems that brought about incidents like this were championed and funded by “liberal progressives”.

Did “liberal progressive” leaders in France and the rest of Europe understand the forces they were unleashing?

If the answer is no, they were stupid. If the answer is yes, they were malicious.

Ordinary “liberal progressives”, the so-called “intellectual elite”, didn’t know what was taking place right in front of their eyes. They were too busy thoughtlessly parroting the “liberal progressive” narrative that they reduced to a few pejorative buzz words to stop and think about consequences.

“Liberal progressives” think they are superior in every way. I think they are stupid or malicious or both.

In the real world, stupidity and maliciousness are dangerous.  The combination of the two is more than doubly dangerous.  France is an example.

Run-of-the-Mill “Liberal Progressives”

It’s virtually impossible to help run-of-the-mill “liberal progressives”.  They are too “smart” for their own good.  They talk to each other and virtually no one else.  The are lost in an insular world of their own making.  It’s a make-believe world, and they are clueless.

“Liberal progressives” are definitely too “smart” to listen.  They “know” too much, and that’s their problem.  They can’t see what’s coming until it hits them in the face.

In their world, there are no consequences. In the real world, there are always consequences.

Civil War in France?

Civil war in France isn’t far off.  Is Macron astute enough to see it?  Time will tell.
