Ynet News—Al-Aqsa mosque manager banned from Temple Mount:

In light of the current wave of terror attacks, started among other reasons over Palestinian claims Israel was trying to change the status quo on the Temple Mount, the Jerusalem Police has decided to ban al-Aqsa mosque manager Najah Bacirat from the complex for six months.

While the police did not detail the reasons behind the decision, a letter sent to Bacirat stated that the Jerusalem deputy district commander “is of the opinion that this move is necessary to prevent serious harm to both people and property.”

Starting January 31, the mosque manager is not allowed to “enter, stay or be found in the Temple Mount area, or its entrances, unless he is permitted by the deputy district commander.”

Security officials said Bacirat is considered a radical and inciting figure on the Temple Mount.

His ban is the latest in a series of steps police have recently taken to keep away extremist figures from the complex, including banning the Al-Moravids group and sending calming messages to Jordan that Israel has no intention to change the status quo at the holy site.

SnyderTalk Comment: Banning the al-Aqsa mosque manager from the Temple Mount is a symbolic move, but it’s important.  It sends the message that Israel is in charge.

I’m not crying over spilled milk, but things would be much simpler and safer today if Israel had taken complete control of the Temple Mount at the end of the Six-Day War in 1967.  I bring it up because that mistake should not be repeated.

When Yahweh gives you a gift, take it and say, “Thank you.”

See “Shocking Survey Shows 60% of Jordanian Students Have Never Heard of ‘Al Aqsa Mosque’”.

Jordan is next door to Israel.  Jerusalem is about 30 miles from the Jordanian border. Maybe Abbas and his cronies overestimate the Temple Mount’s importance to Muslims around the world.

The Temple Mount (Mount Moriah) and Yahweh’s Temple are mentioned hundreds of times in the Old and New Testaments.  Yahweh’s Temple was the center of activity in Jerusalem from King Solomon’s time (the 900s B.C.) to the Messiah’s time and later with a 70-year interlude in the 500s B.C. for the Babylonian captivity.  Roman forces destroyed Yahweh’s Temple in 70 A.D., and it hasn’t been rebuilt yet.

Jerusalem is not mentioned one time in the Quran.  A cryptic reference to a dream in the night is the only mention of what some Muslims believe to be Jerusalem.

Archeological evidence keeps piling up.  All of it supports everything we read in the Bible.

Nothing matters to lunatics and zealots except their opinions.  Compared to their opinions, facts are trivial things.

Sound familiar?

We are engaged in a Spiritual battle.  The fields of battle are politics, religion, and economics.  Elections matter.

Market WatchCoin toss broke 6 Clinton-Sanders deadlocks in Iowa — and Hillary won each time: While it was hard to call a winner between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders last night, it’s easy to say who was luckier. The race between the Democrat presidential hopefuls was so tight in the Iowa caucus Monday that in at least six precincts, the decision on awarding a county delegate came down to a coin toss. And Clinton won all six, media reports said.

SnyderTalk Comment: The odds of winning 6 consecutive coin tosses by chance are 1/64. That’s 1.6 percent of the time.

That’s not impossible, but it’s highly improbable.

The odds are much better that the coin tosses weren’t fair.

That’s the Hillary I know.

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and looks like a duck, it’s a duck.

The Fiscal TimesThe Clinton Scandal That Still Matters Is Not the One You Think: […] The [New York]Times also reported, “During Mr. Clinton’s tenure in Arkansas, Tyson benefited from a variety of state actions, including $9 million in government loans, the placement of company executives on important state boards and favorable decisions on environmental issues.” Tyson appears to have obtained these results for what looks like a bribe delivered though Hillary Clinton’s commodities account. To quote the company’s former chairman: politics is “a series of unsentimental transactions between those who need votes and those who have money.” This perspective should provide cause for concern today, since Hillary Clinton made $2.9 million in speaking fees from large financial institutions between 2013 and 2015. That total includes $675,000 from the much reviled Goldman Sachs. One is left to wonder whether Goldman and the other financial industry behemoths stand to gain any transactional benefits for their money. While paid speech-making is not illegal, bribery is. Tyson might have simply made a campaign contribution to Bill Clinton back then, but that would have violated limits then in effect. Instead, Bill and Hillary pushed — and seemingly broke — ethical and legal limits to get the cash they needed. […]

AlgemeinerSurvey Reveals More Than Half of French People Think Jews ‘Have a Lot of Power’: More than half of the French population surveyed in a new poll published on Sunday admitted to thinking that Jews are powerful. The poll, conducted over the course of 18 months, sought to study French sentiment toward racism, religion, antisemitism and Islamophobia. The results, which were published in the French weekly Le Journal Du Dimanche, revealed that 56 percent of French people believe Jews “have a lot of power.” Some 91% of respondents said Jews in France “are very insular,” and 30% answered yes to the question: “Do you think a racist reaction can be justified?”

SnyderTalk Comment: Raw statistics don’t divulge the real problem.  Anti-Semitism in Europe, not just France, is on the rise.  It’s like the march to World War II.

Now is the time for Jews to leave Europe.

See “Poll: Most Frenchmen believe Jews responsible for rise in anti-Semitism”.

Like I said, it’s the prelude to WWII all over again.

euronewsTerror, anti-Semitism and Mideast peace: Israel’s Ambassador to France meets euronews: More than 70 years after the end of the Second World War, these are dark days for France’s Jews. The fear of being attacked is every present in a community repeatedly targeted by Islamist militants, whether it be Mohamed Merah gunning down small children at a Jewish school, or Amedy Coulibaly shooting dead shoppers at a Jewish supermarket. As a result, record numbers of French Jews are taking up Benjamin Netanyahu’s offer and seeking sanctuary in Israel.

Khaled Abu Toameh—Hamas: The “Merchants of War” Who Seek to Destroy Israel: The myth that Hamas uses tunnels to smuggle food and other necessities to the “besieged” Gaza Strip has been buried under the rubble of the tunnel that collapsed last week east of Gaza City. The incident, in which seven members of Hamas’s armed wing, Ezaddin Al-Qassam, were killed when the tunnel they were working in collapsed, provides further proof that the Islamist movement has stayed true to its charter, which calls for the total destruction of Israel.

Al-MonitorIs the US a threat to Israel?: The Intercept published Jan. 29 information about Operation Anarchist, an extensive spying initiative of the United States and the United Kingdom against Israel’s covert aerial activities. The article generated an enormous storm in Israel’s security circles and also in its highest political echelons. According to the report that was drawn from Edward Snowden’s documents, the national wiretapping services of both the United States and the United Kingdom — the National Security Agency and Government Communications Headquarters, respectively — set up secret spying facilities atop Cyprus’ Troodos Mountains. For 18 years, they have been tracking Israeli activities of fighter jets, unmanned aerial vehicles (UCAVs or combat drones) and Israel’s entire aerial deployment. According to the documents, the Americans succeeded in breaking the code encryption of Israel’s drone alignment including the Israeli Heron. The leaked documents claim that this is an unmanned aircraft capable of attacking deep in enemy territory. According to the published information, even the operating code of the Arrow project’s Black Sparrow target missile was breached by the superpowers. The Black Sparrow is a missile launched by Israeli fighter planes from a very high altitude; it resembles the Iranian Shahab missile that the Arrow is supposed to intercept and damage at high altitude.

ReutersPentagon chief to preview fiscal 2017 budget on Feb. 2: sources: U.S. Defense Secretary Ash Carter is scheduled to preview the Pentagon’s fiscal 2017 budget request in a speech on Feb. 2, a week before the White House sends its budget plans to Congress, two U.S. defense officials said on Monday. Carter is expected to highlight the broad themes of the Pentagon’s budget request and its priorities, rather than presenting a detailed list of programmatic changes, said one of the sources, who was not authorized to speak publicly.

Huffington Post Canada10 Reasons Israel Is Not An ‘Apartheid’ State: Tyler Levitan’s recent Huffington Post Canada op-ed entitled “Israel’s Actions In Palestine Are The Definition Of Apartheid” is a perfect example of how when baseless accusations are left unanswered, they risk becoming accepted as conventional wisdom. Levitan’s libeling Israel as an “apartheid” state is wholly disingenuous and lacks substantive argumentation. As his preferred instrument of choice, Levitan employs empty rhetoric to blacken Israel’s name and to isolate it through boycott, divestment and sanctions campaigns. The goal is to force Israel into making dangerous, one-sided concessions that make defensible borders porous and impossible to maintain. Ultimately, Levitan’s modus operandi serves to demonize and stigmatize Israel, to malign the Jewish state’s hard-fought reputation and to tarnish its standing in the community of nations. As such, a full refutation of the “apartheid” libel must be stated for the record. For posterity purposes, here are 10 reasons why Israel is not an “apartheid” state: 1. All people living in Israel have full equal rights.

Joseph Farah—Europe’s Muslim rape epidemic: When 850,000 so-called “refugees” – mostly male Muslims – stormed the borders of Europe earlier this year, a looming rape crisis was predictable from the start. What happened in the microcosm of Rotherham, England, between 1997 and 2013 should have been still fresh in the minds of the public and the officials who resettled the mostly Sunni populations in Germany, France, England, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Finland and Switzerland – all of which experienced a 2016 New Year’s Eve nightmare of sexual assaults. Europe obviously did not embrace the lessons of Rotherham.

Washington PostPutin loyalist posts chilling death threat to Russian opposition leader: A year after the assassination of Russian opposition leader Boris Nemtsov, the man many blame for the killing has posted a video of Nemtsov’s closest ally in the crosshairs of a rifle. The 16-second video posted Monday by Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of Russia’s Chechnya republic, shows opposition leader Mikhail Kasyanov as viewed through what appears to be a rifle scope. Kasyanov said he was treating the video as a murder threat and that he had reported it to law enforcement. “I see this as a direct threat to murder a statesman,” Kasyanov said in a statement posted on the website of his Parnas political party.

HaaretzRussia Assured Israel It Isn’t Transferring Arms to Hezbollah in Syria: Russia assured Israel a few weeks ago that it has not transferred and will not transfer arms to Hezbollah in the course of its military operations in Syria, Israel’s ambassador to Moscow told the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee on Monday.

SnyderTalk Comment: I’m not convinced.

Robert Spencer—‘Tsunami of money’ from Saudi Arabia funding 24,000 madrassas in Pakistan: These madrassas don’t teach readin’, ‘ritin’, and ‘rithmatic. They teach Qur’an, the hatred of Infidels, and the duty Muslims have to wage war against and subjugate them. About 24,000 ‘madrassas’ in Pakistan are funded by Saudi Arabia which has unleashed a “tsunami of money” to “export intolerance”, a top American senator has said adding that the US needs to end its effective acquiescence to the Saudi sponsorship of radical Islamism. Senator Chris Murphy said Pakistan is the best example of where money coming from Saudi Arabia is funnelled to religious schools that nurture hatred and terrorism.

Jerusalem PostHamas operatives pose as medical patients to infiltrate Israel: Both men were from the Jabalya refugee camp located in the northern Gaza Strip.

14--Blessings from Revelation 2

Blessings in the Book of Revelation is a book that you need to read, especially now.  There are blessings throughout the Scriptures but Revelation is the only book in the Bible actually containing a specific blessing for reading it. It’s repeated twice, once at the beginning and again at the end. This is the reason that I believe Revelation should be the first step toward studying biblical prophecy. Though not easy to do, Revelation can be broken down and understood by anyone, not just the academic elite. So, Revelation’s blessings are for everyone.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17: 22-24)
