Washington Post—Will Hillary Clinton win the Democratic nomination?:

Clinton spent much of the last year with a wide lead over Vermont democratic socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders in the Iowa caucuses. But, over the last month, as voters dialed into the race and Sanders went up with the bulk of his TV ad campaign, the race has closed. Clinton’s lead over Sanders is now down to just three points, according to Real Clear Politics.

In New Hampshire, Clinton has steadily trailed Sanders for months, a deficit that her campaign chalks up to his geographic proximity and adopted native-son status. Of late, however, Sanders’s edge has significantly widened in the Granite State.

Beyond Iowa and New Hampshire, Clinton looks far stronger. Even as she has slipped in Iowa and fallen farther behind in New Hampshire, she has held onto a wide South Carolina primary advantage. And given her strength with minority voters, just about every state after the first two is friendlier territory for Clinton.

How has she performed?

Clinton is a steady presence on the campaign trail; she will rarely wow you with a performance, but she also never swings and misses.

Clinton’s problem is that she is facing a rival in the form of Sanders who is more naturally passionate on the stump and who has engendered more passion among his supporters. She hasn’t performed poorly; she just lacks the skill set that Sanders possesses.

SnyderTalk Comment: The fact that this question is being asked is telling.  The fact that the Washington Post is asking it speaks volumes.

Hillary was a shoo-in, or so we were told.  Word was spreading through DC that Bill was already lining up dates.

Hillary was ready to assume the mantle that she thought the Democrat Party and the nation owed her for all the wonderful things she has done for our country.

Now, the probability that Mrs. Clinton will be under federal indictment come election time is at least a high as the probability that she will be on the ballot.  If she’s not under indictment, it will be because of protection from the Obama “Justice” Department.

At the core, Hillary is a dishonest person.  No one can trust her, not even Bill.  She will say and do anything to achieve her objectives.  The fact that Democrats don’t know it or have chosen to ignore it is scary.

The 2016 race for president is shaping up to be important, unpredictable, and entertaining.  As a nation, what will we do?  The decision is ours to make.

How many more chances to repent do you think Yahweh will give us before He drops the hammer?  This may be the last one.

People who don’t know Yahweh think this kind of logic is pure rubbish.  Well, the joke is on them.

It’s not a joke, actually.  That fact will become obvious soon enough.

See “Mideast Christian Suffering, U.S. Denial”.  From what source does this “denial” originate?

The next president will have a lot of hard work to do simply undoing the damage that Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and their accomplices have done to our military and diplomatic corps.

Jerusalem PostUN chief Ban ‘alarmed’ over Hamas vow to rebuild Gaza tunnels: In a statement delivered by his spokesperson, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said on Saturday that he was “alarmed” by the recent statements from the Hamas leadership in Gaza stating their intention to continue building tunnels and firing rockets at Israel. “Such statements and actions put at risk reconstruction, humanitarian and development efforts by the international community and Palestinian and Israeli authorities,” Ban said. “They also do a serious disservice to the long-suffering people of Gaza.”

SnyderTalk Comment: Ban Ki-Moon must live in an alternate universe.

Does he listen to what Hamas leaders are saying, and is he watching what they are doing?

Obviously not.

Washington PostIsrael doesn’t trust NGOs that get money from US and Europe. Here’s why.: Ayelet Shaked is Israel’s justice minister and the sponsor of a contentious bill that would require nongovernmental organizations that receive a majority of their funding from “foreign government entities,” including U.S. aid, to be labeled as such. It may also obligate members of those groups to wear special badges when they appear in the Israeli parliament. Critics have called the bill a right-wing witch hunt designed to muzzle dissent, especially dissent about Israel’s 49-year military occupation of the West Bank. Shaked, a computer engineer and a secular politician from Tel Aviv who is a star in the ultra-nationalist religious Zionist party Jewish Home, spoke with The Washington Post last week. This transcript of the interview has been condensed and edited for space and clarity.

SnyderTalk Comment: Where Israel is concerned, I don’t trust the U.S. under Obama or Europe, either.

Sputnik InternationalWashington Has ‘Neither the Wisdom nor the Will’ to Fix Middle East Issues: In the Cold War era, the US had one obvious goal in the Middle East – to contain Soviet influence. After the USSR fell, Washington has not yet worked out a cohesive policy in the region, a US political analyst wrote.

Jerusalem PostIsrael: French threat to recognize ‘Palestine’ if talks fail encourages deadlock: The French warning to recognize Palestine as a state if a new multilateral diplomatic push to resolve the conflict fails, gives Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas an excuse not to negotiate with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

SnyderTalk Comment: It does more than give Abbas an excuse not to negotiate.  It gives him a reason not to negotiate.

Isn’t that obvious?

Of course, it’s obvious.  That means we are witnessing evil activity.

Does that surprise you?  It doesn’t surprise me.

Rampant anti-Semitism throughout Europe is a key to the puzzle.

Hitler is dead, but not his philosophical leanings.

RTThousands march to protest state of emergency in France: Thousands of people marched in 70 French cities, including Paris, to demand immediate action to stop France’s ongoing state of emergency and openly voice outrage over government plans to revoke the French citizenship of dual nationals, many of them Muslims, convicted of terrorism. Up to 20,000 protesters – many of them members of human rights groups, political parties and trade unions – took part in a peaceful protest in Paris on Saturday, RTL reported the organizers as saying. According to police estimates, some 5,500 people gathered in the heart of the French capital, between Place de la République and the Palais-Royal, holding banners that read: “State of emergency, police state” and “My France of liberties, where are you?”

Jerusalem PostUK official slams Israel after criticizing Rouhani during Holocaust memorial ceremony: The reproach came just hours after Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, released a video in which he said it is “not clear” whether the Holocaust was “reality or not.”

ReutersIran gives medals for capture of U.S. sailors: Iran’s supreme leader has awarded medals to navy commanders for capturing U.S. sailors who entered Iranian territorial waters this month, Iran’s state media said on Sunday. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who has said Iran should remain wary of its arch-enemy the United States even after a landmark accord over Tehran’s nuclear program, awarded the Fath (Victory) medal to the head of the navy of the Revolutionary Guards and four commanders involved in the seizure of two U.S. Navy boats.

SnyderTalk Comment: I wonder what part of “arch-enemy” Obama doesn’t grasp.

Obama is the best friend Iran has in the world. He’s probably the only friend Iran has in the world.

Russia and China are cozying up to Iran.  That warrants our attention, but they haven’t felt the hand of Iran’s betrayal yet.  They will.

If we don’t reverse course, we will rue the day the U.S. signed the Iran nuclear deal. Hopefully, the next president will do something about it.

Time is of the essence.

Jerusalem PostGerman paper uses Nazi language to blame Israel for Palestinian terrorism: An article in the Munich-based Süddeutsche Zeitung (SZ) has been accused of mimicking Nazi rhetoric by placing the blame for Palestinian terrorism squarely on Israel’s shoulders. Titled, “Israel suffers for its cycle of revenge,” an article last week by the newspaper’s Israel-based correspondent, Peter Münch, quoted from an interview with Said Zidani, a Palestinian philosophy professor at Al-Quds University in Jerusalem, in which he said Palestinians murder Israelis not only out of “desperation but [as] an act of resistance…”

Jewish Telegraphic AgencyWestern Wall prayer fight ends with historic compromise: Israel’s government has approved a compromise to expand the non-Orthodox Jewish prayer section of the Western Wall, putting to rest the decades-long fight between Women of the Wall and Israel’s haredi Orthodox religious establishment. Sunday’s deal achieves what had been an elusive goal: An interdenominational consensus on Judaism’s holiest site, endorsed by the Israeli government. Under the deal, the non-Orthodox prayer section at the wall will become much larger and more accessible. But haredi control of the Orthodox section will also be solidified, though non-Orthodox leaders have long protested that monopoly.

SnyderTalk Comment: What’s on top of the Temple Mount matters most.

CNNMob calls for assaults on foreigners in Sweden; clashes at UK migrant protests: Tensions over Europe’s migrant crisis led to arrests and violence in Sweden and the UK over the weekend, with a masked mob calling for attacks on foreigners in Stockholm and clashes between pro- and anti-migrant demonstrators in the British town of Dover.

CBS NewsIs Putin giving Turkey the cold shoulder?: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned Moscow on Saturday that it would be forced to “endure the consequences” if its jets continue to violate Turkish airspace, after Ankara reported a new border infringement incident by a Russian plane. NATO-member Turkey said another Russian warplane violated its airspace on Friday despite several warnings – two months after Turkey’s military shot down a Russian jet for crossing over its territory. The past incident seriously strained the previously close ties between the two countries, damaging a strong economic partnership.

SnyderTalk Comment: Does a bear defecate in the woods?

NewsweekISIS Attacks in Damascus Felt at Syria Peace Talks: Syria’s main opposition group met U.N. mediator Staffan de Mistura for the first time on Sunday, but the peace process ran straight into trouble after Islamic State bombers killed more than 60 people near the country’s holiest Shi’ite shrine. Representatives of the Saudi-backed Higher Negotiation Committee (HNC)—which includes political and militant opponents of President Bashar al-Assad—warned they may yet walk away from the Geneva talks unless the suffering of civilians in the five-year conflict is eased. The head of the Syrian government delegation retorted that the blasts in Damascus, which the Interior Ministry blamed on a car bomb and two suicide bombers, merely confirmed the link between the opposition and terrorism—even though Islamic State has been excluded from the talks.

SnyderTalk Comment: Also, see “Syria Talks Get Off to Tough Start as Bombing Kills Dozens”.

USNI NewsChina Upset Over ‘Unprofessional’ US South China Sea Freedom of Navigation Operation: Chinese officials issued several condemnations of the latest U.S. freedom of navigation operation in the South China Sea in which an American guided missile destroyer came within 12 nautical miles of Chinese administered Triton Island in the Paracel Island chain. Hours following the pass of USS Curtis Wilbur (DDG-54) Chinese state controlled media published rhetorically charged statements from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of National Defense. The Wilbur FON op was “unprofessional and irresponsible… the U.S. act severely violated Chinese law, sabotaged the peace, security and good order of the waters, and undermined the region’s peace and stability,” National Defense spokesman Yang Yujun said on Saturday.

SnyderTalk Comment: Shema Yisrael.  Yahweh Eloheinu, Yahweh Echad.

Hear Israel.  Yahweh is our Elohim.  Yahweh is One.

That’s the truth in a nutshell.  Muslims need to hear it, too.

In the Torah, it’s not Adonai or Hashem.  It’s Yahweh.

Refusing to say it is reprehensible.

14--Blessings from Revelation 2

Blessings in the Book of Revelation is a book that you need to read, especially now.  There are blessings throughout the Scriptures but Revelation is the only book in the Bible actually containing a specific blessing for reading it. It’s repeated twice, once at the beginning and again at the end. This is the reason that I believe Revelation should be the first step toward studying biblical prophecy. Though not easy to do, Revelation can be broken down and understood by anyone, not just the academic elite. So, Revelation’s blessings are for everyone.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17: 22-24)
