Theodore Shoebat—Christians Butchered In Guinea:

Great havoc and violence has arisen in Guinea, in which a substantial amount of churches have been destroyed, and an immense amount of Christians have been killed. Jihadist-provoked violence left ninety-five people dead, and a hundred and thirty wounded.

In Nzérékoré, five churches have been attacked and looted, and the homes of four pastors attacked by Muslim mobs. One priest, Fr. Joseph, recounted the violence:

“The two Catholic and Protestant churches have all been ransacked and burned … Almost all the houses and shops belonging to Christians or people affiliated with Christians, have not escaped the fury of attackers.”

The Catholic area, including the quarters of the nuns and the Presbyter, was looted and set to flames. Moreover, in Beyla, the Center for Youth Development, a conference room, an Internet cafe, a primary school and a library, were ravaged and devastated.

Beyla’s regional deputy of health services, Dr. Tolon Loua, was killed during the violence, as Fr. Joseph says:

“He was inside of his house when the assailants arrived and set it on fire … Badly burned, he was transported to the hospital where he was later declared dead.”

Guinea is 85% Muslim, 10% Christian, and 5% indigenous beliefs.

Passionate speeches, slick slogans, and branding truth-tellers with false labels such as “Islamophobe” can’t hide the facts.  Muslim persecution of Christians is taking place all over the world.  It’s intensifying and becoming more violent.  Where is President Obama’s outrage?

13--Perspectives 2

#####

Daniel Greenfield: Grandpa Assad: “The Jews Brought to the Muslim Arabs Civilization, Have Not Taken Anything by Force, Nevertheless the Muslims Declared Holy War Against Them”— This is an extraordinary document, though I wouldn’t make the mistake of reading too much into it. None of the Assads were good guys. Assad’s father was a monster. And Assad’s grandfather was willing to be honest about what was going on in a private communique to a foreign leader back when he was part of a beleaguered minority.

Matthew Vadum: Whither the Anti-War Left?— As America’s leftist president demands war against Syria, the anti-war Left is nowhere to be found. Democratic lawmakers who reflexively oppose any military action proposed by a Republican president are for the most part missing in action now that a Democrat occupies the Oval Office.

Raymond Ibrahim: Putin Puts Obama in the Hot Seat— Russian President Vladimir Putin has a strange way of speaking straightforwardly, without all the artificial and “morally superior” airs one expects from Western politicians. Earlier, for example, he wondered why Western leaders were supporting cannibals in Syria: “You will not deny that one does not really need to support the people who not only kill their enemies, but open up their bodies, eat their intestines in front of the public and cameras. Are these the people you want to support? Is it them who you want to supply with weapons? Then this probably has little relation to humanitarian values that have been preached in Europe for hundreds of years.”

Bruce Bawer: The Coming Flood of Syrian Refugees to Sweden— Another week, another jaw-dropping development in Sweden. A couple of weeks ago it was the cockamamie “hijab solidarity” campaign, in which non-Muslim women all over the country donned head coverings in tribute to a Muslim woman who claimed a man had yanked hers off. This week, the eyebrow-raising news is that Sweden is offering instant permanent residency to any and all Syrian refugees who apply. These newly minted residents, moreover, will be entitled to bring over their spouses and kids. The reasoning behind this new policy is that the situation in Syria is extremely dangerous right now and not likely to improve anytime soon.

Andrew Harrod: United Nations’ War on Free Speech Continues— German federal authorities have responded to earlier criticism by the United Nations’ (UN) Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD) of lax German hate speech measures with troubling proposals to restrict further freedom of expression.  These developments in a case previously documented by my Legal Project (LP) colleague Sam Nunberg and me demonstrate once again the dangers for freedom that foreign organizations can present, especially in light of international campaigns against “Islamophobia.”

Silvio Canto, Jr.: Syria is all about Obama not Iraq— Syria is about “incompetence”, as Peter Wehner described this week: “This latest volte-face by the president is evidence of a man who is completely overmatched by events, weak and confused, and deeply ambivalent about using force. Yet he’s also desperate to get out of the corner he painted himself into by declaring that the use of chemical weapons by the Assad regime would constitute a “red line.” As a result he’s gone all Hamlet on us. Not surprisingly, Obama’s actions are being mocked by America’s enemies and sowing doubt among our allies.”

Victor Sharpe: The Fables of Saeb Erakat— I wrote an article once titled: Lies, Damned lies, and Palestinian Propaganda in Descending Order. That title paraphrased 19th century British Prime Minister, Benjamin Disraeli’s aphorism: Lies, damned lies, and statistics in descending order. Few have mastered the art of dissimilitude more than long time Palestinian Arab spokesman, Saeb Erakat, who continues to be taken seriously by the ever gullible western media.

Ben Cohen: Why Afghanistan Matters— The U.S is set to withdraw combat forces from Afghanistan in 2014, and most Americans think that is a good thing. The conventional wisdom holds that whether the Taliban returns to power strictly concerns the Afghans and is of no import to America. The conventional wisdom is wrong. A Taliban-run Afghanistan would be a disaster for America, a sanctuary for anti-American jihadists immune from U.S intervention. If the Afghan government collapses, and the Taliban returns to power, our withdrawal will go down as one of the worst blunders in American history.

J.R. Dunn: The Ruling Elite Settles In—Events of this past summer indicate that a new political paradigm is settling in — one in no way friendly toward American life as we now understand it.

Jack Cashill: What I Learned from the Zimmerman Trial—I learned many things attending the trial of George Zimmerman in Sanford, Florida, and watching it online, but one important thing I learned was fully unexpected, and it was this: the Republicans may never win a national election again. This observation has nothing to do with the February 2012 shooting of Trayvon Martin, nothing to do with race, nothing to do with policy, and everything to do with the way people, especially women and young people, increasingly get their information.

4--Scripture of the Day USE THIS ONE

The scripture below is from the New American Standard Bible, and the hyperlinks associated with each word are from Strong’s Concordance for the New American Standard Bible.

Joel 2: 18-22

Then Yahweh will be zealous for His land and will have pity on His people. Yahweh will answer and say to His people, “Behold, I am going to send you grain, new wine and oil, and you will be satisfied [in full] with them; and I will never again make you a reproach among the nations. But I will remove the northern [army] far from you, and I will drive it into a parched and desolate land, and its vanguard into the eastern sea, and its rear guard into the western sea. And its stench will arise and its foul smell will come up, for it has done great things. Do not fear, O land, rejoice and be glad, for Yahweh has done great things. Do not fear, beasts of the field, for the pastures of the wilderness have turned green, for the tree has borne its fruit, the fig tree and the vine have yielded in full.”

  • “Behold, the days are coming,” declares Yahweh, “when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; and He will reign as king and act wisely and do justice and righteousness in the land.  In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely; and this is His name by which He will be called, ‘Yahweh our righteousness.’” (Jeremiah 23: 5-6)
  • Yeshua said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.” (John 8: 58)

14--Blessings from Revelation 2

Blessings in the Book of Revelation is a book that you need to read, especially now.  There are blessings throughout the Scriptures but Revelation is the only book in the Bible actually containing a specific blessing for reading it. It’s repeated twice, once at the beginning and again at the end. This is the reason that I believe Revelation should be the first step toward studying biblical prophecy. Though not easy to do, Revelation can be broken down and understood by anyone, not just the academic elite. So, Revelation’s blessings are for everyone.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.

  • Falsely Accused is a true story about a young woman who was accused of committing a double homicide.  It’s about a travesty of justice, and it reveals Yahweh intervening in the life of a believer to rescue her from danger in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.  Everyone will enjoy the book, but young people in particular need to read it because the mistakes made that led to the problem could have been avoided.  They were the kinds of mistakes that young people are prone to make.  As they say, forewarned is forearmed.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.
