New York Post: Terror attack strikes Boston Marathon, more than 130 injured; person of interest ID’d—Law enforcement sources confirmed to The Post that authorities have a identified a suspect, a Saudi national, who is currently being guarded in a Boston hospital with shrapnel wounds.

SnyderTalk Commentary: Is he the guy? I don’t know, but I will be shocked if the culprits, plural, are not Islamists. Keep in mind that the masterminds behind 9/11 were Saudis, too, and Boston was a key hub for their operations.

I’m not suggesting that all people from Saudi Arabia are Islamists, but that country and Egypt are the birth place and incubation chamber for the most militant Islamists in the world today. That’s not an opinion. That’s a fact.

Unfortunately, Islamist wackos have found a home to their liking in Boston. If I lived in or near Boston, I would be careful. There is one more thing that I would do. I would do my best to oust the radical politicians who have turned the beautiful State of Massachusetts into a festering sore.

4--Scripture of the Day

Daniel 6: 16-18

Then the king gave orders, and Daniel was brought in and cast into the lions’ den. The king spoke and said to Daniel, “Your God whom you constantly serve will Himself deliver you.” A stone was brought and laid over the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet ring and with the signet rings of his nobles, so that nothing would be changed in regard to Daniel. Then the king went off to his palace and spent the night fasting, and no entertainment was brought before him; and his sleep fled from him.

Mike Adams: The Campus Crusade for Crust—Welcome back students! My name is Biff Latane and I am the campus director of Jesus Crew (or J. Cru for short) here at Denton State University (or DSU for short). Before I tell you more about J. Cru at DSU, I want to take a few minutes to apologize for an episode that occurred during our last meeting at the end of the last quarter.

Robert Spencer: Jihad in Boston?—The politics of a terror attack.

Mark Tapson: Actor Steven Weber Proves That ‘Inside Every Liberal is a Totalitarian Screaming to Get Out.’—Time for Nuremberg trials for the Right, says Huffington Post celebrity blogger.

Bosch Fawstin: Robert Redford’s Terrorist Heroes—The old, weathered Hollywood icon reveals the depth of his anti-American hate.

Ruthie Blum: A matter of life and death— Israel’s existence must not be taken for granted.

Dan Margalit: Israel is not just land— At age 65, the Jewish state is bustling, passionate, infuriating, sad, exhausting, courageously fighting for its life and soaring through the skies of high-tech.

Ambassador Dan Shapiro: The next 65 years of the US-Israeli partnership— I look forward to Americans and Israelis enhancing and building upon our already strong economic and commercial ties.

Judy Lash Balint: Remembrance Day and Independence Day in Israel—Before Israel Independence Day celebrations of the nation’s 65th birthday take place on April 16, Israel has to pay tribute to those who fell in battles and terror attacks. Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Terrorism Remembrance Day takes place the day before Independence Day, and the piercing siren brings the country to a complete standstill at 8 p.m. Sunday evening, then again at 11 a.m. Monday morning for two minutes of silent remembrance. On Remembrance Day, all Israeli places of entertainment, cafes and restaurants are closed, while more than 1 million Israelis visit Israel’s military cemeteries.

Yoav Zitun: IDF Chief of Staff: We Have No Choice But to Keep Winning—IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz wrote Sunday in a Memorial Day missive to IDF soldiers: “Beyond the tales of battlefield heroism, we remember with nostalgia and a twinge of regret the young lives cut short; each and every one of them a whole world in his or her own right.” “Just like us they donned uniforms and bore arms. They sought to protect their parents, children, sisters and brothers, their friends.”

David Singer: Two New Palestinian Myths—The Palestinians take two more steps into fantasyland.

Matti Friedman: Our man in Beirut: The remarkable story of Isaac Shushan— On the day Israel became a country 65 years ago, the young Syrian Jew was in Lebanon as a spy, part of an odyssey that took him from Aleppo to a kibbutz, to war in Palestine and an encounter with Hitler’s yacht.

David Horovitz: From Shimon Peres on Israel’s birthday, a very healthy dose of dissatisfaction— Our near-nonagenarian president is in optimistic mood. We could make peace relatively rapidly, he says, and we can heal divisions with the Diaspora by focusing on common denominators. So why the talk of dissatisfaction?

Isi Leibler: Independence Day and the Zionist vision— The founders of our state, fighting a war of survival, could never have envisioned the dynamic and thriving nation of eight million citizens that would emerge from that maelstrom.

Roi Kais: Jordanian Parliament Demands Release of Shooter of Seven Israeli Schoolgirls—110 members of the Jordanian House of Representatives signed a petition demanding a pardon for a Jordanian soldier who shot and killed seven Israeli schoolgirls in 1997. Ahmad Musa Mustafa Daqamseh shot the girls during a school fieldtrip in Naharayim, near the Israel-Jordan border. Hussein Mjali, Jordan’s former justice minister, previously referred to the imprisoned soldier as a “hero.”

Yossi Yehoshua: Sharp Rise in Hamas Attempts to Abduct IDF Soldiers—The Israel Security Agency reported 33 unsuccessful attempts to kidnap IDF soldiers in the West Bank since the beginning of the year, compared with 24 thwarted attempts during all of 2012,Yediot Ahronot reported Friday. Senior officials said the prisoner exchange deal which secured the release of Gilad Shalit encouraged Hamas to attempt additional kidnappings.

Jonathan S. Tobin: PA Prime Minister Fayyad’s Resignation Is Bad News for Palestinians and Israel—The resignation of PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad lays bare the collapse of the hope that Palestinian nationalism would be refocused on development and coexistence rather than violence. It dooms the Palestinians to a choice between the incompetent cadres of Fatah or the bloody Islamist tyranny of Hamas.

Hugh Naylor: Fayyad’s Departure May Signal Comeback for Old-Style West Bank Politics—The resignation of Salam Fayyad may signal a resurgence of old-style politics in the West Bank, with a focus on backroom deal-making and patronage. Appointed by President Abbas to the premiership in 2007, Fayyad streamlined the PA’s bloated budget while reining in corruption and dismantling the militant groups that had roamed the West Bank. The result was more stability and glimmers of economic prosperity.

Col. (ret.) Dr. Jacques Neriah: Stalemate in the Syrian Civil War—On the second anniversary of the Syrian civil war, the Assad regime appears to be strong enough to endure a war of attrition with the rebels even with the loss of large portions of sovereign Syrian territory. Some analysts claim that the Syrian civil war began in 1980 when a group of Muslim Brothers stormed the military academy in Aleppo and, after separating the Alawite and Sunni cadets, cold-bloodedly killed the Alawites with knives and assault rifles. The regime retaliated in 1982 by brutally killing more than 20,000 Muslim Brothers in Homs and Hama.

Victor Davis Hanson: North Korean Mythologies—We don’t know what will happen in Korea. But do not assume that China is working for peace, that war is just too unprofitable to break out, that South Korea is well-integrated with its allies, that concerned parties listen to the U.S., or that an unthinkable and nihilistic war could neither be won nor lost. Repeating conventional wisdom does not make it true.

Arnold Ahlert: Chavez’s Vicious Legacy Lives On—But a weakened successor gives some hope for the future of Venezuela.

Bruce Bawer: Swedish Left Reluctantly Drops Israel-Hating Party Leader—But no apologies from the man who called for the bombing of the Jewish State.

Michael Walsh: Dr. Mengele, I Presume—The story of Kermit Gosnell and his “Women’s Medical Society” is the precise opposite of The Preferred Narrative of the MSM. It features a black villain, who may turn out to be the worst mass murderer in American history. It blows away the smokescreen that abortion has anything to do with “women’s health,” and reveals it for the barbaric, immoral, and murderous practice it, in fact, is.

Becket Adams: The Scathing Speech That Takes the Media to Task for Blackout of Gruesome Abortion Trial: If the ‘Doctor’ used an AR-15, You Bet They’d Care—Ten Congressmen took to the floor of the U.S. House on Thursday to shed some light on the trial of Kermit Gosnell, an abortionist who stands accused of murdering seven newborn infants (allegedly cutting their spines with scissors) and one grown woman. Among the 10 U.S. lawmakers was Rep. Chris Smith, a New Jersey Republican who says the media has intentionally ignored Gosnell’s “house of horrors.”

Jeannie DeAngelis: Kermit Gosnell: Secret Hero of the Left—Here is a man who epitomizes the post-abortion rights mentality. For pro-choice crusaders, what’s not to love?

Janice Fiamengo: ‘Exiled’: This Is What Social Justice Looks Like—A new book edited by Mary Grabar, the academician who blogs as “the Dissident Prof,” showcases the overt and covert ways that conservative intellectuals are marginalized or excluded. In a series of witty and engrossing narrative essays, the collection provides first-hand accounts of what happens to those who flout the protocols of correct belief or pursue research outside the parameters of approved scholarship.

Richard Baehr: Why Obama focuses on social issues— Keeping them front and center diverts attention from the slow economic recovery.

Thomas Sowell: Thomas Sowell – Obama Going Forward—Video Commentary.

Jason Howerton: Boston Marathon Explosion Already Being Blamed on the Right—Before any information was available that might indicate who is responsible for the horrific Boston Marathon bombings, Esquire’s Charles P. Pierce cautioned readers against “jumping to conclusions” and blaming the attack on “foreign terrorism.” However, he was compelled to remind people that Monday is the “official Patriots Day holiday” in Massachusetts, celebrating the Battles at Lexington and Concord. He also pointed out that April 19, the actual date of the battles, is connected to Oklahoma City bomber Tim McVeigh, who apparently considered himself a “waterer of the tree of liberty and the like,” according to Pierce.

Star Parker: The Predictable Liberal Assault on Ben Carson—Dr. Ben Carson stepped into the national spotlight recently when, as speaker at the National Prayer Breakfast, to an audience that included President Obama, he was openly critical of the President’s approach to health care and his overall management of the nation’s economy.

Peter Ferrara: President Obama’s Plan for A Socialist One Party State—The last check and balance on President Obama is the Republican majority in the House of Representatives. He has made clear that he intends to remove that check on his power in the 2014 elections.

William A. Levinson: Michael Bloomberg’s Gun Stings—If this were another issue, the MSM would call this a “witch-hunt.”

14--Blessings from Revelation

Blessings in the Book of Revelation is a book that you need to read, especially now.  There are blessings throughout the Scriptures but Revelation is the only book in the Bible actually containing a specific blessing for reading it. It’s repeated twice, once at the beginning and again at the end. This is the reason that I believe Revelation should be the first step toward studying biblical prophecy. Though not easy to do, Revelation can be broken down and understood by anyone, not just the academic elite. So, Revelation’s blessings are for everyone.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.
