Ezekiel 36: 27-32

“I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances. You will live in the land that I gave to your forefathers; so you will be My people, and I will be your God. Moreover, I will save you from all your uncleanness; and I will call for the grain and multiply it, and I will not bring a famine on you. I will multiply the fruit of the tree and the produce of the field, so that you will not receive again the disgrace of famine among the nations. Then you will remember your evil ways and your deeds that were not good, and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and your abominations. I am not doing this for your sake,” declares Adonai Yahweh, “let it be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel!”

His Name is Yahweh explains why the Name of God, Yahweh, is so important.  It’s available in eBook format and in paperback.

  • God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘Yahweh, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ This [Yahweh] is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation.” (Exodus 3: 15)
  • “Therefore behold, I am going to make them know—this time I will make them know My power and My might; and they shall know that My name is Yahweh.” (Jeremiah 16: 21)
  • “Behold, the days are coming,” declares Yahweh, “when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; and He will reign as king and act wisely and do justice and righteousness in the land.  In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely; and this is His name by which He will be called, ‘Yahweh our righteousness.’” (Jeremiah 23: 5-6)
  • Yeshua said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.” (John 8: 58)

Mrs. Lori Palatnik: 1-800-God, 1: Use God’s Name—I wish Lori had used God’s Name.  It would have made her presentation more compelling. “God, furthermore, said to Moses, ‘Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, “Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.” This [Yahweh] is My name forever, and this is My memorial-name to all generations.’” (Exodus 3: 15)

Gary Aminoff: Islamic Fascism: the Nazi Connection—Despite common misconceptions, modern Islamic Fascism was not born during the 1960s, but during the 1930s. Its rise was not inspired by the failure of Nasserism in Egypt, but by the rise of Nazism in Germany.

Michael Oren: Stop Scapegoating Israeli Settlements – Jewish Apartment Complexes Aren’t Preventing Peace—Back in 2005, Israel uprooted all 21 Jewish settlements in Gaza, evicting their 9,000 residents, in order to advance peace. But in the seven years since, Israel has been targeted by nearly 9,000 terrorist rockets from Gaza. Clearly, settlements are not the reason.

Linda S. Heard: Hamas Leader’s Incendiary Speech in Gaza—Chairman of Hamas’ Political Bureau Khaled Mashaal’s speech to rapturous crowds in Gaza last week was nothing short of incendiary. “No Palestinian leader has the authority to relinquish one inch of Gaza or the West Bank….Today is Gaza. Tomorrow will be Ramallah and after that Jerusalem, then Haifa and Jaffa.” That defiant message may have played well with some Palestinians, but it has reaffirmed Israel’s assertion that Hamas wants nothing less than the Jewish state’s destruction.

Leon Wieseltier: Losing Hope on Israeli-Palestinian Peace— I no longer believe that peace between Israelis and Palestinians will occur in my lifetime.

Zvika Fogel: How not to build a winning army— Each combat soldier learns how to hold a line while charging toward the enemy, but no soldier was ever taught to hold a line with lawyers. This is what happens when you take skilled soldiers trained to win and ask them to be policemen.

Boaz Bismuth: Europe’s ‘dismay’ over settlements— The EU is currently too divided to sanction Israel for its E1 construction plan.

Alan Baker: The Palestinian UN Upgrade: Setting Things Straight—What it all really means, without misleading exaggeration.

Seth Mandel: Media Still Asking the Wrong People the Wrong Questions on the Mideast—It is to be expected that whenever something alters the dynamic of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the world wonders aloud how this change will affect the peace process. And so it is with Israel’s Iron Dome, the missile defense system that kept so many Israelis safe during the recent rocket blizzard from the terrorist enclave of Gaza. But I wrote at the time that it was wishful thinking to assume that Iron Dome would fundamentally change the course of the conflict.

Daniel Greenfield: It’s Dictators All the Way Down—Obama’s new beginning in Egypt has the same old ending.

Daniel Greenfield: A Holiday of Resistance—The first night of Chanukah marks the beginning of a holiday that for many of its celebrants has no identity, that celebrates ‘celebration’, with no thought to what it is celebrating. For many Americans, Chanukah appears to overlap with Christmas, but there is no similarity between the two other than the season. The more appropriate analogy is to the 4th of July overlaid with Thanksgiving, a celebration of divine aid in a military campaign against tyrannical oppression.

Nadav Shragai: Protecting the Contiguity of Israel— The site called E-1 (East 1) is an area immediately adjacent to Jerusalem to the east, which covers an area of 12,000 dunams of largely uninhabited and mostly state-owned land. It is within the municipal boundary of the Israeli city of Maale Adumim. The Israel Ministry of Housing, which devised the E-1 construction plan, sought to develop the area in order to link Maale Adumim and its 36,000 residents to Jerusalem.

Louis Rene Beres: For Israel, What Next In The Matter Of Iran? (2 of 3)— Steadily, Israel is strengthening its plans for ballistic missile defense, most visibly on the Arrow system and also on Iron Dome, a lower-altitude interceptor that is designed to guard against shorter-range rocket attacks from Lebanon and Gaza.

Barry Rubin: A Turning Point in Egypt: Not on Direction But on the Speed of Islamist Transformation—A critical moment has arrived for Egypt. But what does it mean? President Morsi has rescinded much of his decree claiming total power, but he could accomplish much the same thing after the constitution is confirmed, and perhaps if he forces the reinstatement of the elected parliament whose election was declared invalid by a court. At any rate, Morsi’s concession has not quieted the demonstrations — another sign that concessions in the Middle East don’t bring agreements — and so this crisis is not going away.

Arnold Ahlert: Egypt’s Torturer-in-Chief Headed to Washington—Obama fulfills promise to host Morsi even after Muslim Brotherhood savagery is exposed.

Raymond Ibrahim: 3,000 Foreign Jihadis to Terrorize Egyptian Opposition?— Terrorists will reportedly begin flooding the country in a matter of days.

Daniel J. Mitchell: An Honest Liberal Confronts the Problem of Government Dependency—To a large extent, this is an intergenerational problem, with kids learning bad habits from adults. And that’s true for inner-city blacks and rural whites, as well as every demographic in between. I’m happy to make the case that the welfare state helped to create the problem (or at least subsidized it and made it worse), but simply ending the welfare state probably won’t make everything better.

Martin Chulov: France funding Syrian rebels in new push to oust Assad— Large sums of cash have been delivered by French government proxies across the Turkish border to rebel commanders in the past month, diplomatic sources have confirmed. The money has been used to buy weapons inside Syria and to fund armed operations against loyalist forces.

Daniel Greenfield: Iraq On the Verge of a Civil War— Sure the media would love to pay attention to this, if only they could tear themselves away from providing updates on the deadly Israeli houses that will destroy all hope for peace . But meanwhile in Iraq, there have been armed clashes between Iraq’s government and the Kurds. Talks brokered by the United States have broken down. The next step could very well be a civil war.

Barry Rubin: Israel Has No Other Alternative But the Alternative it Has is a Good One—The Palestinian leadership, abetted by many Western governments, has now torn up every agreement it made with Israel. Once the efforts of two decades of negotiations—including irrevocable Israeli compromises in giving the Palestinian Authority control over territory, its own armed forces, dismantling settlements, and permitting billions of dollars of foreign aid to the Palestinians—were destroyed, the world has decided to focus the blame on Israel approving the construction of 3000 apartments.

Max Boot: At DIA, Focus Should Be on Improving Intel—Apparently I am not the only one skeptical of the Defense Intelligence Agency’s plan to double the size of its human spy force. (I argued in this Los Angeles Times op-ed that we already have enough intelligence personnel–we need to focus on improving their quality.) The Senate has put a temporary hold on the DIA initiative pending a Defense Department explanation of how it will fix existing problems with its attempts to gather “human intelligence”–as opposed to the kind of technical intelligence capabilities at which the Pentagon and the entire U.S. government excel.

Bruce Deitrick Price: Education Has Been Battered by Bad Faith—Can it really be an accident that there is so much failure in America’s education system?

G. Donald Allen: Understanding $16,000,000,000,000 in Debt—There are a few ways to make $16T more comprehensible to the average citizen…but that’s about the best we can do.

Rick Moran: The student loan debt bomb—Student loan debt now tops credit card debt for the first time.

Blessings in the Book of Revelation is a book that you need to read, especially now.  There are blessings throughout the Scriptures but Revelation is the only book in the Bible actually containing a specific blessing for reading it. It’s repeated twice, once at the beginning and again at the end. This is the reason that I believe Revelation should be the first step toward studying biblical prophecy. Though not easy to do, Revelation can be broken down and understood by anyone, not just the academic elite. So, Revelation’s blessings are for everyone.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.
