Jeremiah 12: 14-17:
Thus says Yahweh concerning all My wicked neighbors who strike at the inheritance with which I have endowed My people Israel, “Behold I am about to uproot them from their land and will uproot the house of Judah from among them. And it will come about that after I have uprooted them, I will again have compassion on them; and I will bring them back, each one to his inheritance and each one to his land. Then if they will really learn the ways of My people, to swear by My name, ‘As Yahweh lives,’ even as they taught My people to swear by Baal, they will be built up in the midst of My people. But if they will not listen, then I will uproot that nation, uproot and destroy it,” declares Yahweh. (Jeremiah 12: 14-17)

- Cairo: Anger Starting to Focus on Israel, U.S.
Take: These four articles tell an interesting story – a story that you need to understand. No matter who takes Mubarak’s place, the US-Egyptian relationship is going to deteriorate. The Muslim Brotherhood will see to it. Also, in the end, Israel will be the real victim in all of this. Mubarak kept the Jew haters in Egypt under control. In time, they will gain enough political power to threaten Israel. Remember what Yahweh told Zechariah: “For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured, the houses plundered, the women ravished and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city.” (Zechariah 14:2) I’m afraid “all nations” includes the US. We need to try to prevent the US from turning against Israel, but you need to be aware that it may not be possible.

The New York Times:
- Date With a Revolution
- A Cross of Rubber Take: Is Paul Krugman blind? Is he oblivious to the connection between our government forcing banks to lend money to people who couldn’t afford to repay and the housing bubble that grew as they rushed out to buy as much home as they possibly could? I think the answer to both questions is “yes”. Keep in mind that Krugman won a Nobel Prize in economics. There was a lot of second-guessing when his prize was announced because he has never done or said anything noteworthy, much less groundbreaking. I will say this for Krugman, though. Hypocrisy run amuck
Al Gore is a great example of hypocrisy run amuck. He’s the champion of global warming, and he has a Nobel Peace Prize to prove it. If you can figure out what global warming has in common with a “peace prize”, you’re smarter than I am, but that’s another story.
Scientific evidence tells us that earth’s atmosphere started cooling in 1998, but you don’t hear that reported on the mainstream LP media. In fact, evidence points out that earth’s climate cycles, and it’s been cycling since creation. We were in a cooling cycle in the 1970s. Back then, mainstream LP media types were warning about the dangers of global cooling. I’ll never forget a book that I was forced to endure during my undergraduate days: Famine 1975! American’s Decision: Who will Survive? by William and Paul Paddock. In it, the authors explain that global cooling is leading to mass starvation around the planet and that Americans have to step in and save the day.
How quickly LP types forget, or choose not to remember. They remind me of Chicken Little desperately searching for something to scream about which will awaken the world to their perverted view of reality. In the end, they get rich at our expense, but that too is another story.
I said that Al Gore is a hypocrite, and as peculiar as this may sound, I’m being kind. I base my conclusion on these facts. To wit:
- His getaway place: “Al and Tipper Gore have picked up a $8.875M luxury getaway in Montecito, CA; a swanky zip code that has attracted big name residents like Oprah Winfrey, Steve Martin, and Kirk Douglas. Records show that the approximately 6,500 sq. foot home boasts 6 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, a large pool house, 6 fireplaces, wood framed french doors, and carved stone detailing throughout.”
- His main house: “A 20 room mansion (not including 8 bathrooms) heated by natural gas. Add on a pool (and a pool house) and a separate guest house, all heated by gas. In one month this residence consumes more energy than the average American household does in a year. The average bill for electricity and natural gas runs over $2400 per month. In natural gas alone, this property consumes more than 20 times the national average for an American home. This house is not situated in a Northern or Midwestern ‘snow belt’ area. It’s in the South.”
- His houseboat: “In an amazing display of conspicuous consumption, even for Al Gore, his new 100-foot houseboat that docks at the Hurricane Marina in Smithville, Tennessee is creating a critical buzz among many of his former congressional constituents. Dubbed “Bio-Solar One,” which may reflect some latent Air Force One envy, Gore has proudly strutted the small-town dock claiming that his monstrous houseboat is environmentally friendly. (Only Al Gore would name his boat B.S. One and not get the joke. Or perhaps the joke is on us?) …. the engines are bio-diesel fueled and Gore can expect to use about two gallons an hour to cruise Center Hill Lake. With a 500 gallon capacity Austin (the boat’s builder) says Gore won’t need a refill for ‘two or three years’ though he admits having ‘no clue’ about where Gore could get bio-diesel at the lake. The Hurricane Marina dock doesn’t sell it.”
Al and Tipper Gore have split. I won’t hazard a guess as to why, but I know this much. Al Gore loves green alright, but he likes the paper variety … in large denominations. I have a hypothesis about why Al Gore has so many bathrooms in his houses. He’s full of something.
I’m not picking on Al Gore. I’m merely using him as an example of the hypocrisy emanating from the LP establishment. They jet from place to place at their leisure –often in private jets so as not to have to mingle with the dirty, unwashed masses; they drive big, fancy, gas guzzling cars … often the SUV variety that they pretend to hate; they leave carbon footprints that you can see from outer space; and they make fortunes telling the rest of us that we have to use less energy.
LPs have discovered an important truth. P.T. Barnum was correct. There’s a sucker born every minute, and they seek to identify as many of them as they can so they can cash in.
If you’re smart, you’ll listen to the LPs and then do the exact opposite of what they say. For example, they are for same sex marriages. Go the other way. They are for the underprivileged Palestinians. Back the Israelis. They believe that we can borrow and spend our way out of debt. Even imbeciles know better than that. I could continue, but you get the picture. Thankfully, LPs hang together and it’s easy to spot them. They love MSNBC and The New York Times, for instance. It pays to keep up with both just to see what their latest larcenies are.
LPs have done incalculable damage to this nation, and we have a president who trumpets their pet causes – even when he pretends to understand our dire circumstances. It’s time to wake up America and finish the drill.
