Scripture of the day:
Isaiah 42: 23-25—Who among you will give ear to this? Who will give heed and listen hereafter? Who gave Jacob up for spoil, and Israel to plunderers? Was it not Yahweh, against whom we have sinned, and in whose ways they were not willing to walk, and whose law they did not obey? So He poured out on him the heat of His anger and the fierceness of battle; and it set him aflame all around, yet he did not recognize it; and it burned him, but he paid no attention.

SnyderTalk Editorial: Synagogue plot suspect says, ‘I’ll kill 10 million Jews.’
“Muslims want to take the U.S. down. Believe me, we can do it with our regular Muslims here.”
“I will kill 10 million (Jews) before I kill one Muslim.”
Are these statements idle threats? Rants from a fool? The person who made these remarks is James Cromitie, one of four men arrested in New York in 2009 for plotting to bomb NY synagogues. The FBI used a paid informant named Shahed Hussain to obtain the information. He infiltrated a Newburgh, NY mosque and came away with a treasure trove of evidence.
Are these men deranged lunatics who were operating independently, or are they enemy combatants working in unison with others to accomplish strategic objectives? We had similar information about high-risk individuals before 9/11, but law enforcement authorities at the federal and state levels didn’t connect the dots.
All of us are familiar with the Fort Hood Shooter, the Underwear Bomber , and the Christmas Bomber. Are they, too, examples of isolated incidents?
Given what we know, it’s naïve to believe that the James Cromities of the world are just fools who are prone to making ridiculous threats. They’ve been indoctrinated and trained for battle. Their mission in life is to bring us down. We have opened our doors and our arms to men like them, and they are our mortal enemies. They have made their homes in the US and built mosques where they plot our destruction.
I’m not spewing hatred here. I’m simply presenting facts. Men and women of their ilk represent a small minority in the Muslim community, but their voices are the ones we hear most often and they’re the ones who have demonstrated again and again and again that they mean business.
Islamofascists have infiltrated our military, social and political organizations, and some will argue, even the White House. They have taken refuge behind our fundamental belief in the freedom of religion, and they use our tolerance as an opportunity strike out at us hoping in the end to impose their radical views on the rest of us. That’s what the evidence says. Are we listening?
