SnyderTalk Commentary: Israel is being criticized for using video footage that was confiscated from journalists on the Gaza-bound flotilla. What did Israel want the world to see? Unedited video showing IDF soldiers being attacked by an angry mob, and it was taken by “the enemy”. The truth doesn’t go very well with the story they wanted to tell the world. If they had been able to edit the video, you would have gotten an entirely different message. Instead, you get to see what actually happened. The irony is breathtaking. Yahweh’s Hand had to be in it. At times like these, I want to say a prayer and thank Yahweh. The Internet enables us to get the truth out at the speed of light despite the best efforts of people who want us to blithely go along with their anti-Israel agenda. It’s no wonder the mainstream media is dying a slow death in front of our eyes. None of us is dependent on them any longer. They’ll say and do anything to stop us from TELLING THE TRUTH. They have proven that their goal has nothing to do with getting the truth out. They have an agenda to deliver, and the truth just gets in the way. Thank you for reading and sharing SnyderTalk. SnyderTalk Commentary:

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is a hypocrite.  He had to know what Israeli soldiers would do if they were attacked.

Here are some questions for the Turkish PM.  What right did Turkey have to invade Iraqi airspace and bomb Iraqi Kurds?  Did he know about the airstrikes?  Did he approve the airstrikes?  Did he order the airstrikes?  What would he do if we pressured Turkey to give up part of its sovereign territory to create a homeland for the Kurds called Kurdistan?  What would he do if we sent a convoy into Turkey to arm the Kurds in SE Turkey?

This is the bottom line.  PM Erdogan is sounding and looking more like an Islamist every day.  He’s playing the Bashar al Assad and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad game of capitalizing on every opportunity to slam Israel.  Assad and Ahmadinejad are as religious as my dog, but they play the game like maestros when they need to work up a crowd of their mindless followers.  Unlike Assad and Ahmadinejad, as far as I know Mr. Erdogan hasn’t sent his “brownshirts” to his political opponents’ homes in the middle of the night to “deal with them”, not yet anyway, but nothing would surprise me.

Mr. Erdogan, when the Turkish people elected you as their prime minister, Israel lost a friend in the Middle East.  My hope and prayer is that they will oust you as quickly as they can.  I taught a lot of Turkish students at the University of Virginia.  Without exception, they were some of the finest people I have ever met.  I have tremendous confidence in them, but my confidence in you is zilch.  For your hypocrisy, Mr. Erdogan, I’m giving you The Dunce Award.

SnyderTalk Commentary: Does it matter?  Of course it matters.  He shouldn’t have been there.  By placing himself in harm’s way, he knowingly put his life at risk.  I’m not happy about what happened, but the real culprits are to blame, not Israel.

NPR, why don’t you use some of the money you take from US taxpayers and do some homework?  Every time I listen to Car Talk, I ask myself this question: why don’t they put this on commercial radio?  My tax dollars shouldn’t be used to support a program that can make it on its own.  For that matter, my tax dollars shouldn’t be used to support radio programs I don’t enjoy.  NPR, get off your high horse.  Maybe one day you’ll have to fend for yourself in the real world where content matters.  I also like Morning Edition, and it could make it on its own too.  Hopefully, your days will be numbered when we get serious about the deficit and debt problems we face as a nation.
