SnyderTalk Commentary: The Gaza flotilla was a staged event for Western eyes. It was part of a public relations ploy that worked beautifully, from the Palestinian perspective. Make no mistake, the loss of life, as regrettable as it is, was the intended outcome, and Israel is once again viewed as the pariah of the Middle East. Palestinians have been playing a PR game since the 1967 Six-Day War ended, and they’ve been winning the hearts and minds of people who know little or nothing about what is actually taking place in Israel. Sadly, that includes most of the people alive today.

Don’t be deceived. Israel is fighting for its right to exist and the Palestinians know it. They want world opinion to turn against Israel so profoundly that people all over the globe will question Israel’s legitimacy. As I said, Palestinians are winning the PR game, so it will take a brave soul to stand up for Israel at this crucial moment.

If you have any questions about Israel’s right to exist or her legitimacy, see Yahweh’s Promises Concerning the Promised Land under Pages in the column on the right. From Yahweh’s perspective, Palestinians are the trespassers. That’s why you need to read the Bible. The problems we are witnessing today were foretold more than 2,000 years ago, and things will get worse before they get better. You can count on it.

On the bright side, Yahweh will return and solve the problem Himself. This is my advice for those who turn their backs on Israel. Her Protector is patient, but His patience is wearing thin. When Yahweh returns, you won’t be able to run and hide. If you care for yourself and for your loved ones, you need to seek Yahweh right now, before it’s too late.

These two songs are about an event that many of us will probably see with our own eyes. For about 2,000 years, people have longed for this day. Judging by the season, it may be closer than you think, but only Yahweh knows the exact time of His return:
