Did Yeshua and His Disciples Use the Name “Yahweh”?

While I was writing His Name is Yahweh and making presentations to various groups around the United States and Israel, this question arose many times: Did Yeshua and His disciples use the Name “Yahweh”? The answer is a resounding YES! Yeshua and His disciples used the Name “Yahweh” regularly, and in fact, the disciples’ message to the world was that we have salvation in the Name Yahweh. Sometimes they used the phrase “the Name of Yeshua” in lieu of the Name “Yahweh” to avoid being killed prematurely.

This is a subtle but important point, and you need to get it. The Name of Yeshua is Yahweh. In the column on the right under Pages, you will find a Page titled “Yahweh’s Name in the New Testament”. You should take a look at it. You should also go to His Name is Yahweh and download the manuscript and the audio files. Everything is free and you can copy the files as often as you want.

If you are like me, you are put off by the attempts of religious leaders in the United States to sell their messages as if they were products in a department store. That’s not what Yahweh had in mind when He said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28: 19-20) If Yahweh wanted us to sell His message, I think He would have added something like this: “and make a lot of money for yourselves in the process.” This is not my message. It’s Yahweh’s message, and it’s free.

The Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit is Yahweh. They are One, and They share the Name Yahweh.
