Thanks to Slumdog Democrats, Trump’s Impeachment Trial Will Tear the Democrat Party Apart

President Donald Trump’s Senate trial will open in an atmosphere of acrimony Tuesday that will underscore how his impeachment, far from purging political corruption, is likely to tear even deeper national divides.

President Trump’s defense counsel has filed their legal brief on impeachment. It lays out a clear argument explaining why the Senate constitutionally cannot even consider the two flimsy articles of impeachment. The Senate, which has the sole power to try all impeachments, must acquit President Trump and outright dismiss this attempt to undermine the Constitution.

Democrats Hate President Trump

Democrats hate President Trump. That’s a given. It’s the backdrop to everything Democrats have been up to for the past 3 years.

Trump-hate has been the driving force in the Democrat Party since the day Donald Trump won the 2016 presidential election. On Election Day, Democrats declared that they would impeach the president. Establishment media titans like the New York Times and the Washington Post hired hit squads to dig up dirt on the president that could be used in the impeachment effort. When Robert Mueller was appointed special counsel to investigate so-called “Russia collusion”, Democrats started licking their chops. They thought impeachment was a foregone conclusion. Democrats’ hopes were dashed when a stumbling and bumbling Mueller appeared before the House Judiciary Committee and confessed that after more than 2 years of investigation and at great cost to American taxpayers his team of Hillary supporting, Democrat investigators had not been able to find a shred of evidence to support the charges against the president.

By the time Mueller gave his embarrassing testimony in July 2019, Democrats had regained control of the House. The newly appointed House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff (a slumdog Democrat from Los Angeles) reiterated his oft repeated claim that despite Mueller’s findings President Trump had colluded with the Russians, and he vowed to impeach the president. House Judiciary Committee Chair Jerry Nadler (a slumdog Democrat from New York) campaigned for his position by telling his Democrat comrades in the House that he was the person best qualified to impeach the president. The Squad (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley) made impeaching the president their highest priority.

Who can forget Tlaib’s chant on the night she was elected: “Impeach the mother f**ker”?

More than any other Democrats, the Squad represents what the Democrat Party has become, and they don’t like what the Democrat Party is. They think today’s Democrat Party is right of center.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) stated Monday that the Democratic Party is a “center or center-conservative” party and that there currently isn’t a “left” party in the United States.

Speaking at an event commemorating Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Ocasio-Cortez knocked her own party for not being progressive enough.

“We don’t have a left party in the United States. The Democratic Party is not a left party,” the freshman congresswoman began, sparking applause from the audience. “The Democratic Party is a center or a center-conservative party.”

She continued, “We can’t even get a floor vote on Medicare-for-all — not even a floor vote that gets voted down. We can’t even get a vote on it. So this is not a left party. There are left members inside the Democratic Party that are working to try to make that shift happen.”

Let’s not forget Maxine Waters. She’s a slumdog Democrat from Los Angeles. She told crowds of young and naïve Democrat followers that they should get in the face of Trump administration officials and Trump supporters and make them feel uncomfortable wherever they were. At the end of her rallies, she led the faithful in a chant: “Impeach 45! Impeach 45! Impeach 45!”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a slumdog Democrat from San Francisco, knows that the Democrat nominee for president in 2020 has virtually no chance of defeating President Trump in a general election. With Election Day rapidly approaching, she decided that it was time to rush impeachment articles through the House to smear President Trump’s remarkable record of accomplishments before November 2020. In the rush to impeach, the House threw due process out the window. The president was not allowed to call witnesses in his defense. He was not allowed to have counsel present. And he was not allowed to cross-examine witnesses. Even so, the two articles of impeachment against the president (abuse of power and obstruction of Congress) include no allegations of criminal wrongdoing. In essence, Democrats charged the president with being a person that they hate.

Hating the president and disagreeing with his policies are not impeachable offenses. Democrats will have to learn that the hard way.

After rushing the articles of impeachment through the House, Pelosi sat on them for a month while she tried to manipulate Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. She demanded that the Senate conduct the investigation that should have been conducted in the House. McConnell wouldn’t budge. He told Pelosi that the Senate tries impeachment cases. It doesn’t investigate them. That’s the job of the House.

While Pelosi and other Democrats talked about their solemn constitutional duty and the sad day that had been thrust upon them by President Trump, they put on a show in the House that is reminiscent of a cheap, traveling carnival. Pelosi had souvenir pens made up, and she handed them out to House Democrats after she signed the articles of impeachment. Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler went on national television demanding fairness in the Senate after having denied President Trump fairness in the House. The coup de gras was Pelosi high-fiving Bill Maher on national television for achieving her objective. She had impeached the president, and as she said gleefully, “Impeachment is permanent”.

What Happens Next?

President Trump will be acquitted in the Senate.
The nation is divided, but it’s not nearly as divided as the Democrat Party. Impeachment will tear the Democrat Party apart.
For the second time in a row, Democrats will rig the process so that Bernie Sanders doesn’t get the Democrat Party nomination for president. It’s already happening. Bernie knows it and so do his followers. Bernie’s backers are crazier than he is. They will explode in July when their guy gets the shaft again.
Democrats in the House who reject the Squad’s positions on issues will become increasingly vocal about their deep-seated loathing for the 4 brash, loudmouthed newcomers, thus creating a generational divide in the Democrat Party.
Blacks and Jews will begin to distance themselves from the Democrat Party. It’s happening already, but it will pick up a head of steam when the Democrat Nominating Convention blows up in July.
Democrats and their operatives in the FBI, the DOJ, and the CIA who participated in a failed coup d’etat will be charged with crimes, tried, and sentenced to prison.
Increasingly, the Republican Party is becoming President Trump’s party. He is doing what Ronald Reagan did in 1980. Old, establishment Republicans will become dinosaurs.
Increasingly, the Democrat Party is becoming a socialist/communist party. Democrat policies don’t resonate with ordinary Americans. After the explosion at the Democrat Nominating Convention in July, ordinary Americans will turn against the Democrat Party in droves. Even diehard Democrats will reject what their party stands for. It’s already beginning to happen. A large and growing number of Democrats have seen through the fog and admitted that President Trump has been treated unfairly by Democrats. The Democrat Party is the Party of Perversity, but increasingly it is being seen as the Party of Malcontent Nutjobs.
Most of the House managers come from New York or California, the two states best known for their slumdog Democrats. That’s a telling sign. When diehard Democrats in major metropolitan areas realize what their party has become, the real exodus will begin. Malcontent nutjobs will be the only ones left in the Democrat Party.
The writing is on the wall. The Democrat Party is a zombie party that’s just waiting to die. The American people are going to put the Democrat Party out of its misery. I hope it happens in 2020.

Conclusion

Democrats have cooked their own goose. They are the biggest losers of all. In due course, they will be seen by most ordinary Americans as the fools they are.

It wouldn’t have happened if Democrats had not been so rabidly anti-Trump and so hellbent on impeaching the president no matter what.

Democrats got what they wanted. Now they will have to suffer the consequences.
