House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff rejected the GOP’s request that the panel summon Vice President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, to testify at public impeachment hearings next week.
The California Democrat also signaled he will not agree to some of the other witnesses Republicans requested Saturday, including Alexandra Chalupa, a former Democratic National Committee staffer who Republicans said worked with the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington, D.C., “to try to get political dirt on then-candidate Trump’s campaign.”
Schiff, who will head public impeachment hearings beginning Wednesday, said in a Saturday statement that he will consider a list of witness requests provided by the GOP.
“This inquiry is not, and will not serve, however, as a vehicle to undertake the same sham investigations into the Bidens or 2016 that the President pressed Ukraine to conduct for his personal political benefit, or to facilitate the President’s effort to threaten, intimidate, and retaliate against the whistleblower who courageously raised the initial alarm,” he said.
Schiff’s Show-Trials
Adam Schiff is running a kangaroo court in the House Intelligence Committee. This is another example of the lengths to which Schiff will go to deny due process to the president.
Schiff’s goal is to impeach the president. He won’t let judicial niceties get in his way.
The GOP is supposed to be able to call witnesses to the public “hearings”, but Schiff must approve GOP witnesses, or they can’t testify.
Schiff’s “hearings” will be show-trials. They will be the kinds of trials that Adolf Hitler’s judges used in Germany to convict people who objected to or stood against Hitler’s regime. Their verdicts were foregone conclusions.
The judges in Germany used those show-trials to send a message to the German people. They wanted people to know that standing in Hitler’s way would cost them their lives.
The “criminals” who were tried in German courts were executed shortly after their convictions. Many of them were hung from hooks with piano wire. Their executions were filmed so the Führer could watch them in his leisure as a form of entertainment.
“Sham Witnesses”?
The witnesses that Schiff calls “sham witnesses” are people who threaten to undermine the impeachment narrative that he is working diligently to construct. Schiff wants absolute control of the show-trials, because otherwise, the truth will get out.
This is the same Adam Schiff who screeched “Russia collusion!” the whole time Robert Mueller was conducting his Russia collusion investigation. Schiff assured us that he had concrete evidence proving the president’s guilt. After Mueller exonerated the president, Schiff initiated the process that resulted in the show-trials we are about to witness.
Schiff’s Show-Trials will Boomerang
Like everything else Democrats have done, Schiff’s show-trials will boomerang. The American people won’t stand for the mistreatment that the president is being forced to endure by Democrats like Adam Schiff and the establishment media.
We have a presidential election in less than a year. The American people will be the judges. Schiff is racing against time. He knows that the president will win re-election. The Democrat Party’s only hope of beating President Trump in 2020 is to prevent him from running.
Democrats will fail miserably again. The show-trials that Schiff hopes will undermine the American people’s confidence in the president will end up exposing them for the degenerates that they are. They are liars who are immoral to the very cores of their beings.
Democrats haven’t figured out that Donald Trump has a Protector. He is Yahweh’s man for a time like this. Democrats may never get the message, but enough Americans will get it to re-elect the president. Slowly but surely, President Trump is putting the United States on the right path.
