Iran Can’t Be Trusted!

The Iran Problem Should have been Handled in 1979
The Iran problem didn’t pop up on the radar screen recently. It was in full view in 1979, 40 years ago, when the Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, was overthrown during the Islamic Revolution of 1979. The Islamic Republic of Iran was born, and dictatorial powers were granted to the Grand Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.
Khomeini wasn’t a beneficent dictator. He was a brutal tyrant, a warmonger, and a thug. He set in motion the forces that created the Iran we know today.
Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei is the current Grand Ayatollah of Iran. He is a chip off the old block, ruthless and immoral to the core. His net worth is estimated to be about $95 billion. He didn’t earn that vast wealth by selling Persian rugs and saffron. He stole it from the Iranian people while he treated them like dogs. In the Muslim world, treating someone like a dog has special meaning.
President Jimmy Carter should have handled the Iran problem. The revolutionaries took control of the U.S. embassy in Iran and held 52 diplomats and American citizens hostage for 444 days. They were released when Ronald Reagan was elected. Carter had every reason to attack, but he lacked fortitude and competence. The Iran problem ended up costing Carter a second term.
President Ronald Reagan should have handled the Iran problem, too. Instead, he used Iran to raise money to fight a war in Nicaragua that Congress refused to fund. It came to be known as the Iran–Contra affair. The Contras were a group of anti-Sandinista rebels involved in an insurgency against the socialist government of Nicaragua.
In fact, no U.S. president has been willing to tackle the Iran problem. President George W. Bush did great damage in the Middle East region with the war in Iraq that toppled Saddam Hussein. Hussein was a brutal dictator, but he kept Iran in check.
Today, Iran has significant influence in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, and the West Bank. That means Iran’s sphere of influence surrounds Israel. At this moment, Saudi Arabia is the only natural check on Iran in the Middle East region, and Saudi Arabia is in serious trouble with Congress.
President Trump and Iran
I have been explaining this since before Donald Trump was nominated. His primary job is to protect Israel, and Iran is the most important threat that Israel faces. Iranian leaders have said that they intend to “wipe Israel off the map”. Everything they have done suggests that they mean it.
President Trump is confronting Iran. He’s been doing it since Day One of his presidency. That’s the most important job Yahweh gave him to do. That’s why nothing the president’s political enemies have done and are doing has hindered his progress. Yahweh is blessing our nation because Donald Trump is doing what Yahweh wants him to do. It’s as simple as that.
Democrats in Congress will scream bloody murder when the excrement hits the fan. They have started screaming already. Many Republicans in Congress have joined the chorus. Soon, Democrat candidates for president will be talking about almost nothing but Iran. None of them are qualified to shine President Trump’s shoes, but they want to run the country.
No Democrat candidate for president knows Yahweh. One of them, Pete Buttigieg, is a homosexual. He says that Yahweh made him that way. Hogwash! All of them support abortion on demand. That’s premeditated murder. Yahweh doesn’t support that, either. Now, they want us to legalize infanticide and pedophilia. Who knows what they will want us to support next?
Democrats have trouble deciding which bathroom to use. They are hopelessly confused.
Our nation is being tested. If we support President Trump while he does the job that Yahweh gave him, He will bless us. If we don’t support the president, we will suffer.
Iran Can’t Be Trusted!
If the events of recent days don’t convince us that Iran can’t be trusted with nuclear weapons, nothing will. Yahweh promised to protect Israel. Who He uses in the process is His decision, not ours. Yahweh chose President Trump.
