In the Beginning, Yahweh Created Everything

See “The universe may be a billion years younger than we thought. Scientists are scrambling to figure out why.”

The realization that experts in astronomy and astrophysics were off by more than a billion years should give pause to people who think they know how to analyze and predict climate change. Yahweh has a way of making people who think they know everything look like fools.

That has always been true.

Most scientists believe that there was a Big Bang. In a nutshell, this is what the Big Bang theory says:

In the beginning, there was nothing. It exploded and became everything.

When I say “nothing”, I mean nothing. There was no space, no time, and no matter. There was no point in space at which the Big Bang took place.

Nothing doesn’t mean “empty”.  Empty implies something with nothing in it.  There was nothing that could be empty.

There was nothing anywhere and it became everything everywhere in an instant.

Now, look at Genesis 1: 1:

“In the beginning Elohim [Yahweh] created the heavens and the earth.”

Bara is the Hebrew word that’s translated as “created” in Genesis 1: 1.  It means to create something from nothing.  That’s exactly what happened.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17: 22-24)

See “His Name is Yahweh”.
