President Trump is Yahweh’s Man for a Time Like This

“The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no Elohim.’ They are corrupt.  They have committed vile deeds. There is no one who does good.” (Psalm 14: 1)

“Now there was a rich man, and he habitually dressed in purple and fine linen, joyously living in splendor every day. And a poor man named Lazarus was laid at his gate, covered with sores, and longing to be fed with the crumbs which were falling from the rich man’s table; besides, even the dogs were coming and licking his sores. Now the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham’s bosom; and the rich man also died and was buried. In Hades [hell] he lifted up his eyes, being in torment, and saw Abraham far away and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried out and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in this flame.’ But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that during your life you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus bad things; but now he is being comforted here, and you are in agony. And besides all this, between us and you there is a great chasm fixed, so that those who wish to come over from here to you will not be able, and that none may cross over from there to us.’ And he said, ‘Then I beg you, father, that you send him to my father’s house—for I have five brothers—in order that he may warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’ But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’ But he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent!’ But he said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’” (Luke 16: 19-31)

Yahweh is doing marvelous things all over the world right now.  We see and hear about what He is doing every day on television, on the radio, and on the internet.  Even so, most people don’t attribute the things that are happening to Yahweh.  They remind me of Pharaoh and the Egyptian people before the Exodus while Yahweh was inflicting Egypt with one plague after another.

Yahweh chose Moses to deliver His message to Pharaoh.  He chose Donald Trump to deliver His message to the world today.

It took Moses a while to understand that Yahweh had a plan and that it wasn’t to do everything all at once.  Yahweh’s plan was to display His power gradually over time so that the people (Israelites and Egyptians) would have the opportunity to witness His marvelous deeds and repent.

Repent means to turn and go in the opposite direction.  In this instance, it means to turn and go in Yahweh’s direction.

At first, Moses didn’t have any idea what Yahweh had in mind.  Moses first encounter with Pharaoh bears that out.  When he told Pharaoh to let the Children of Israel go into the desert so that they could worship Yahweh, Pharaoh said, “No,” and he inflicted more pain and suffering on the Israelites because Moses dared to ask.

Moses went straight to Yahweh and chided Him for not living up to His word.  Yahweh’s response to Moses was priceless:

Elohim spoke further to Moses and said to him, “I am Yahweh; and I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as El Shaddai, but by My name, Yahweh, I did not make Myself known to them.  I also established My covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land in which they sojourned.  Furthermore, I have heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, because the Egyptians are holding them in bondage, and I have remembered My covenant. Say, therefore, to the sons of Israel, ‘I am Yahweh, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from their bondage. I will also redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments. Then I will take you for My people, and I will be your Elohim; and you shall know that I am Yahweh your Elohim, who brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. I will bring you to the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and I will give it to you fora possession; I am Yahweh.’” So Moses spoke thus to the sons of Israel, but they did not listen to Moses on account of their despondency and cruel bondage. (Exodus 6: 2-9)

In essence, Yahweh explained to Moses that He knew what He was doing and that He had everything under control.  All Moses and the Children of Israel had to do was sit back, relax, and watch Yahweh do His thing.  In the end, Yahweh would do exactly what He said He would do.

That’s where we are today.  Yahweh is doing His thing.  He is using Donald Trump today the same way He used Moses then.

Some people, even some believers, can’t imagine why Yahweh would choose to use an obviously flawed man like Donald Trump in this way.  They think He should have chosen someone better, someone like Billy Graham, for example.  They don’t fully appreciate that Yahweh is Sovereign.  He can do anything He wants to do, and He can use anyone He wants to use.  That’s His decision, not ours.  We aren’t supposed to question Yahweh’s decisions, because we don’t know enough to do that.

Yahweh’s enemies are attacking President Trump 24/7/365.  They are throwing everything they have at him in hopes of destroying his presidency.  No matter what they do, the president is succeeding beyond their wildest dreams.  Rather than hurting the president, everything they do makes him stronger.  They don’t get it, because they don’t know Yahweh.

Some believers have a hard time accepting the fact that Donald Trump is Yahweh’s man for a time like this.  They would prefer someone better, a less flawed person.  I used Billy Graham as an example before, but you can insert any name.  They would rather see a “better person”, but that’s not their decision.

Moses wasn’t the best person to use, but Yahweh chose him.

King David wasn’t the best person to use, but Yahweh chose him.

Sampson wasn’t the best person to use, but Yahweh chose him.

Gideon wasn’t the best person to use, but Yahweh chose him.

Isaiah wasn’t the best person to use, but Yahweh chose him.

Jeremiah wasn’t the best person to use, but Yahweh chose him.

Rahab wasn’t the best person to use, but Yahweh chose her.

Deborah wasn’t the best person to use, but Yahweh chose her.

Elijah wasn’t the best person to use, but Yahweh chose him.

This is the point: Yahweh knows what He is doing.  He decides who He will use and how he will use him.  We are not supposed to question Yahweh’s choices.  We are supposed to support the people He chooses.  If we reject Yahweh’s people because they aren’t good enough, there will be consequences, and they won’t be pleasant.

Each one of us has a decision to make.  Either we will support President Trump and be blessed, or we will reject him and suffer the consequences.

I’ve made my decision.  Actually, I made my decision as quickly as I understood that Donald Trump is Yahweh’s man.  That was long before he was elected.  If you are a regular SnyderTalk reader, you know that.

Have you made your decision?  If not, you are making a huge mistake.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17: 22-24)
