Rosh Hashanah begins today at sundown.  It ends Friday at sundown.

Rosh Hashanah is also called the Feast of Trumpets.  It means to sound the alarm in advance of the Day of Atonement—Yom Kippur.

Yom Kippur begins at sundown on Friday and ends at sundown on Saturday.

After Yom Kippur comes Sukkot or the Feast of Tabernacles.  It’s about living with Yahweh.

Sukkot begins on October 4th at sundown and ends on October 11th at sundown.

Collectively, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot are called the High Holy Days. They are very important to Yahweh.

Christmas has no place on Yahweh’s calendar.  It’s a pagan festival for the sun god.

Christmas never will be holy to Yahweh.  The Messiah was born during the Feast of Tabernacles, probably on Day One of the Feast of Tabernacles, not on the winter solstice.

Israel Hayom—Netanyahu: US understands the need to take action on Iran:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised U.S. President Donald Trump’s aggressive stance on Iran on Monday as the two met for the third time since Trump took office.

The two met at the Palace Hotel in New York City a day before they were to address the U.N. General Assembly’s annual gathering of world leaders.

Following the meeting, Netanyahu told Israeli reporters that a significant part of the conversation focused on Iran, noting that the current administration has a different policy toward the Islamic republic compared with the previous one.

He also said the two agreed that the 2015 nuclear deal with Tehran was “terrible” and “that there was a “clear American interest to amend the agreement. The Americans understand our need to counter Iran, and the sanctions will serve as the big test. If president Trump decides to take action on this matter, this will be of great importance to Israel’s security.”

Netanyahu said that a failure to significantly amend or nullify the agreement will inevitably lead to Iran’s nuclearization.”

Netanyahu further said that in their meeting, he “stood firm when it came to Israel’s interests vis-à-vis the Palestinians, but also expressed a willingness and desire to achieve peace.” Netanyahu said he reiterated Israel’s demand that Hamas returns the bodies of two Israeli soldiers killed in Operation Protective Edge in the Gaza Strip in 2014 and that it release the two Israelis it currently holds.

The two also spoke to the press before they held their close-door meeting. “We’re going to be discussing many things, among them peace between the Palestinians and Israel,” Trump said. “It would be a fantastic achievement, and we are giving it an absolute go. I think there’s a good chance that it could happen. Most people would say there’s no chance whatsoever. I actually think with the capability of Bibi, and frankly, the other side, I really think we have a chance. I think Israel would like to see it, and I think the Palestinians would like to see it, and I can tell you that the Trump administration would like to see it. So, we’re working very hard on it. We’ll see what happens. Historically, people say it can’t happen; I say it can happen. But I just want to say Mr. Prime Minister, it’s an honor to have you, thank you,” Trump said.

SnyderTalk Comment:

I disagree with Prime Minister Netanyahu.  Donald Trump, not the U.S., understands the situation.

Barack Obama didn’t get it.  John Kerry and Hillary Clinton didn’t understand it, either.

Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders are clueless.  Both of them talk an awful lot.  They are like clanging cymbals.  They make a lot of noise to attract attention, but they are in left field.

Warren and Sanders are desperate.  You can see it in their eyes when they speak.

Very few Democrats understand the situation.  None of the ones that I know personally get it.

Thankfully, Donald Trump is president and not any of them.

SnyderTalk Comment:

Iran is a serious problem. That’s not likely to change any time soon.

Iranian leaders suppress internal opposition.  That means change will have to be imposed on them from the outside.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17: 22-24)
