Democrats Elect a New Leader

“Fractured” and “rudderless”.  Those two words are used most often to describe what the Democrat Party has become since their shellacking in the presidential election.  Both of them are appropriate, but neither one of them hits the bullseye.

The Democrat Party has become the Party of Perversity.  Its leaders have no morals and no sense of shame.  They represent a small segment of society, but their fans haven’t caught on yet.

Regrettably, far too many rank-and-file Democrats can’t see the writing on the wall.  That’s too bad because bad company corrupts good morals.  Those who continue to hang on will go down with the ship.

I used to understand why so many Jewish people were Democrats because the Democrat Party wasn’t always like it is today.  That changed a long time ago.

Anyone who pays attention has noticed that corruption and bigotry (that’s right, bigotry) are firmly rooted in Democrat Party politics.  They are particularly evident where Israel is concerned.

Jewish people who were hoping that the new Democrat leader would focus on their concerns are in for a rude awakening.  It ain’t gonna happen.  See “‘Rebuilding’ efforts overshadow Jewish issues in DNC election”.

Will Jewish people keep supporting Democrats?  We’ll see.

Alan Dershowitz, a world-renowned liberal lawyer and a very strong Israel supporter, said that he would leave the Democrat Party if Keith Ellison won the election.  See “Dershowitz threatens to leave Democratic party if Ellison elected DNC chair”.

Ellison didn’t win, but someone just as bad did:  Tom Perez.

Formerly, Perez was Obama’s labor secretary where he dutifully served his master.  His election was round two of the war between the Bernie Sanders camp and the Obama/Clinton camp within the Democrat Party and Sanders lost again.  According to CNN,

“The behind-the-scenes calls underscored why the race was broadly seen as a proxy battle between the Sanders-aligned progressive wing of the party, which supported Ellison, and those more closely connected with Hillary Clinton and Obama, who largely backed Perez.

By selecting Perez — and again spurning Sanders supporters — Democrats risk the backlash that could come with leaving the left wing of the party disappointed a second time in the past year.”

The New York Times had this to say just hours before the election:

“The far more important — and largely untold — story of the election is that more Obama voters defected to third- and fourth-party candidates than the number who supported Mr. Trump. That is the white flight that should most concern the next D.N.C. chairman, because those voters make up a more promising way to reclaim the White House. The way to win them back is by being more progressive, not less.”

The title of the NYT article, “Move Left, Democrats”, sums up the advice of their editorial staff, and that’s exactly what DNC voters did.  After 8 years of far-left ideologues in the Obama administration, people like Perez, running the show, the country is moving to the right toward the center, but leaders at the Gray Lady think the solution for Democrats is to double down on their depravity.

It’s no wonder the Times is losing clout.  Democrat loyalists and especially their toadies in the mainstream media have lost touch with reality.  It’s a sight to behold.

Expect Perez to ramp up efforts to badger President Trump.  That shows how out-of-touch with reality Democrats are.  The country is sick and tired of whiny Democrats and their adolescent antics, but like spoiled brats who refuse to behave, they are begging for a spanking.  They will have to be taken to the woodshed several more times before they come to their senses.

Democrats want to make their perversity the norm in society, and as long as they are winning elections, they will stay the course.  If they lose often enough for long enough, some of them might see the light of day.

Candidly, I think the Democrat Party has passed the point of no return.  Time will tell.

In a nutshell, the Democrat Party doesn’t represent ordinary Americans.  They chose to become a marginal party.  The Party of Perversity wants to make the nation as morally bankrupt as they are.

It ain’t gonna work.  Hillary’s rejection is evidence of that fact.  Don’t forget, Hillary had the “first woman president” thing going for her and she still couldn’t win.  That speaks volumes.

I hope and pray that Yahweh is about to teach Democrats a lesson that they can’t forget.  I think He will because He honors prayer, and there are a lot of praying people in this country.  I’m sure that a few Democrats pray, too, but most of them pray to lesser gods.

Yahweh wants us to be faithful and obedient prayer warriors who are willing to go where His Spirit leads us.  That’s all it takes.

Change that Yahweh calls “good” begins in the hearts of believers—people who are recognizable because they are different.

We are different because we belong to Him and are called by His Name.  We are Yahweh’s people, His followers.
