Express—’They promise but DON’T deliver’ Furious Erdogan rips apart EU over promised aid failings:

RECEP Tayyip Erdogan has accused the European Union of failing to deliver the promised £2.5billion in aid as part of the shambolic migration deal.

The Turkish leader said: “The year is coming to a close. They promise but do not deliver.”

The deal, which was made in March, sees Ankara take on thousands of migrants from Greece in exchange for the staggering amount of cash.

But the European Commission has claimed the money would be paid back over a period of time and not as a lump sum.

The deal also includes visa-free travel for Turks – which now hangs in the balance following the failed military coup in the country in July.

Relations between the Brussels club and Turkey have soured since the attempted coup because the country has refused to back down on its tough anti-terror laws – which EU bosses insist Turkey must curb in order to seal the controversial migrant deal.

At the G20 summit last month, Angela Merkel said she remained confident the bloc and Turkey would resolve their differences.

The German Chancellor said: “The discussions with the European Commission are very intensive and are continuing.”

SnyderTalk Comment:

Let’s be clear.  Turkey is a 98% Muslim country.  Under Erdogan’s leadership, Turkey is tilting toward Islamism.

Most of the so-called “refugees” that have made their way to Europe, and the U.S. for that matter, are unvetted military-age males from Syria.  They traveled through Turkey on their way to Europe.

If Erdogan had a problem with them, he never should have allowed them to enter Turkey.  Instead, he created what amounts to a superhighway for them to use while they passed through Turkey.

In other words, Erdogan knowingly created a problem for Europe, and he is demanding money for helping Europe solve the problem that he helped to create.  That’s called extortion.  The mafia uses the same tactic when it sells “protection”.  It’s illegal.

Erdogan is the guy who purchased oil from ISIS while he pretended to be on our side.  Those oil purchases enabled ISIS to grow and spread, and the oil money funded the purchase of weapons that have been used to kill hundreds of thousands of people.

From where I sit, Erdogan looks like the West’s enemy.  We shouldn’t give him a nickel.  In fact, I think Turkey shouldn’t be a NATO member because of what Erdogan has done.

It’s time to stop pretending and accept the facts.  Turkey has changed.  Europe has changed, too, but there is a chance that European leaders can solve their problem if they get tough on Islamists right now.

If European leaders don’t get tough on Islamists, the game is over for them.  They might as well throw in the towel.

Thanks to Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, the U.S. is heading in the same direction as Europe.  The game will be over for us, too, if we don’t change course immediately.

Elections matter.

People who think they can’t support Donald Trump, and he has given us plenty of reasons not to support him, need to understand that Hillary Clinton is a huge part of our problem.  When she called right-minded Americans “irredeemable deplorables” and “Islamophobes”, she told us exactly what she believes.  The story she is trying to sell to hide the truth is just another Hillary lie.

Hillary Clinton is deplorable.  I would say that she is irredeemable, but that decision is above my pay grade.

Sukkot: The Festival of Tabernacles or the Feast of Booths

Leviticus 23: 33-44:

33 Again Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 34 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘On the fifteenth of this seventh month is the Feast of Booths for seven days to Yahweh. 35 On the first day is a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work of any kind. 36 For seven days you shall present an offering by fire to Yahweh. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation and present an offering by fire to Yahweh; it is an assembly. You shall do no laborious work.

37 These are the appointed times of Yahweh which you shall proclaim as holy convocations, to present offerings by fire to Yahweh—burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings, each day’s matter on its own day—38 besides those of the Sabbaths of Yahweh, and besides your gifts and besides all your votive and freewill offerings, which you give to Yahweh.

39 On exactly the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the crops of the land, you shall celebrate the feast of Yahweh for seven days, with a rest on the first day and a rest on the eighth day. 40 Now on the first day you shall take for yourselves the foliage of beautiful trees, palm branches and boughs of leafy trees and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before Yahweh your Elohim for seven days. 41 You shall thus celebrate it as a feast to Yahweh for seven days in the year. It shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations; you shall celebrate it in the seventh month. 42 You shall live in booths for seven days; all the native-born in Israel shall live in booths, 43 so that your generations may know that I had the sons of Israel live in booths when I brought them out from the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your Elohim.’” 44 So Moses declared to the sons of Israel the appointed times of Yahweh.

Zechariah 14: 1-21

1 Behold, a day is coming for Yahweh when the spoil taken from you will be divided among you. 2 For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured, the houses plundered, the women ravished and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city. 3 Then Yahweh will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle. 4 In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west by a very large valley, so that half of the mountain will move toward the north and the other half toward the south. 5 You will flee by the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel; yes, you will flee just as you fled before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then Yahweh, my Elohim, will come, and all the holy ones with Him!

6 In that day there will be no light; the luminaries will dwindle. 7 For it will be a unique day which is known to Yahweh, neither day nor night, but it will come about that at evening time there will be light.

8 And in that day living waters will flow out of Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and the other half toward the western sea; it will be in summer as well as in winter.

9 And Yahweh will be king over all the earth; in that day Yahweh will be the only one, and His Name the only one.

10 All the land will be changed into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem; but Jerusalem will rise and remain on its site from Benjamin’s Gate as far as the place of the First Gate to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s wine presses. 11 People will live in it, and there will no longer be a curse, for Jerusalem will dwell in security.

12 Now this will be the plague with which Yahweh will strike all the peoples who have gone to war against Jerusalem; their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongue will rot in their mouth. 13 It will come about in that day that a great panic from Yahweh will fall on them; and they will seize one another’s hand, and the hand of one will be lifted against the hand of another. 14 Judah also will fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the surrounding nations will be gathered, gold and silver and garments in great abundance. 15 So also like this plague will be the plague on the horse, the mule, the camel, the donkey and all the cattle that will be in those camps.

16 Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahweh Sabaoth, and to celebrate Sukkot. 17 And it will be that whichever of the families of the earth does not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, Yahweh Sabaoth, there will be no rain on them. 18 If the family of Egypt does not go up or enter, then no rain will fall on them; it will be the plague with which Yahweh smites the nations who do not go up to celebrate Sukkot. 19 This will be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all the nations who do not go up to celebrate Sukkot.

20 In that day there will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, “Holy to Yahweh.” And the cooking pots in Yahweh’s house will be like the bowls before the altar. 21 Every cooking pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy to Yahweh Sabaoth; and all who sacrifice will come and take of them and boil in them. And there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of Yahweh Sabaoth in that day.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17: 22-24)
