Breaking Israel News—Is the Temple Mount Disappearing Before Our Eyes?:

Thus saith [Yahweh Sabaoth], the God of Yisrael: Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.” Jeremiah 7:3

Before the eyes of the world, the most contested site in the Middle East has quietly been rearranged by those who most benefit from a shifting of historical and religious narrative: Palestinian Arabs. The Dome of the Rock and the al-Aqsa Mosque, two buildings that are at the center of furious international debate and spates of violence, have traded places in plain sight, and no one seems to have noticed.

The world is familiar with the image of the golden dome, which has turned into a symbol of Palestinian national identity through a fraud so seamless that it has gone virtually undetected.

The recent wave of violence in Israel rallies behind cries of ‘al-Aqsa’ and images of the Dome of the Rock. In truth, however, the focus of all this fervor – the gold dome – is not al Aqsa at all.

The gold dome is called Qubbat al-Sakhrah, or the Dome of the Rock. Al-Aqsa is the innocuous silver dome located a few hundred meters to the south. Al-Aqsa is a mosque, a place of prayer. It is the place to which Muslims claim Muhammad was transported overnight from Mecca on a magical creature called al Buraq al Sharif. Muslims do not pray in the golden Dome of the Rock – the so-called “al-Aqsa Mosque”. It is a shrine to the rock inside, which was the site of the Holy of Holies in the Jewish Temple.

The Palestinian fraud has spread throughout the Arab world. This symbol of the Dome of the Rock has been taken up as a battle cry against Israel. A chilling video released in August depicted the Iranian army capturing the Temple Mount with a glowing gold dome, and in November, thousands of Iranian soldiers participated in a military exercise that simulated capturing a life-sized plastic replica of the Dome of the Rock, making it undeniably clear that Tehran has set its gunsights on Jerusalem.

SnyderTalk Comment: Lying is the Palestinian modus operandi.  They do it so naturally that naïve and ignorant people think it’s the truth.

I call it the Palestinian Two-Step.  It’s the dance they do as they move form lie to lie in their quest to destroy Israel.  Regrettably, it works.

Well, it doesn’t work on everyone.  It doesn’t work on people who know the facts.

1: Vice NewsWoman Holding Decapitated Child’s Head Arrested Outside Moscow Metro Station:

A woman has been detained outside a Moscow metro station and charged with murder after she walked around with a young child’s severed head reportedly shouting “Allahu Akbar.” A graphic video posted to social media appears to show the suspect.

Moscow investigators said the murdered child was three or four years old and that the nanny had killed her in the family apartment in the Russian capital before setting fire to the premises and fleeing.

Officials said in a statement the unnamed nanny was from Central Asia and that she was undergoing psychiatric testing to see if she was mentally sound and understood the significance of the crime they said she had committed.

Local media reported that the woman — who was wearing a burka — remained outside the station for an hour before being detained by police.

Lifenews.ru, an online news portal with close contacts to the police, said a policeman had approached the woman to check her documents and that she had responded by removing the child’s head from a bag and begun shouting that she had killed the infant.

SnyderTalk Comment: There is no pleasant way to describe the barbarity of real Muslims.  Their brutality and perversity are beyond description.

“Ordinary peaceful Muslims” aren’t really Muslims.  One day, they will know that.

2: Arutz ShevaReport: Iran to withdraw all its fighters from Syria:

Iran is planning to withdraw its entire fighting force from Syria, which includes 2,500 fighters, Israel’s Channel 2 News reported on Sunday.

The report appears to confirm remarks made last week by Secretary of State John Kerry, who told lawmakers that Iran had withdrawn a “significant number” of its Revolutionary Guards troops from the Syrian battlefield.

According to the Channel 2 report from Sunday, the majority of Iran’s forces have already been evacuated from Syria and the rest are expected to return home imminently.

The decision was made jointly by Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and President Hassan Rouhani, Channel 2 said, but no reason for the decision was cited.

SnyderTalk Comment: Iran is withdrawing from Syria.  That leaves Russia in charge.  From a regional perspective, that’s significant.

Russia has filled the vacuum that Obama created.

See “No New Dawn in Iran”:

“For the past three years, the West has been tricking itself into seeing the Islamic Republic of Iran as a country undergoing a gradual process of reform. The outcome of Friday’s two elections — one for the Majlis (parliament) and the other for the Assembly of Experts — is serving as the latest mirage in the delusion.

In 2013, when Hassan Rouhani replaced Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as president of Iran, the United States and Europe took it as a sign of a new dawn. Even Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, the chief mullah controlling Iran’s ‘elected’ leader, came to understand that Rouhani was preferable to the volatile and fanatic Ahmadinejad, whose repeated pronouncements about wiping Israel off the map before attending to America were not serving Tehran in good stead.

Rouhani’s appearance on the international stage provided particular fantasy-fodder for supporters of a diplomatic solution to the problem of Iran’s race to obtain nuclear weapons and to guarantee its regional, and eventually global, hegemony.”

Iranian leaders are good at deception.  Gullible people believe their lies while the Iranian people suffer.

3: Charles Krauthammer—While Obama fiddles…:

State of the world, year eight of Barack Obama:

1: In the South China Sea, on a speck of land of disputed sovereignty far from its borders, China has just installed anti-aircraft batteries and stationed fighter jets. This after China landed planes on an artificial island it created on another disputed island chain (the Spratlys, claimed by the Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan and Vietnam). These facilities now function as forward bases for Beijing to challenge seven decades of American naval dominance of the Pacific Rim.

“China is clearly militarizing the South China Sea,” the commander of the U.S. Pacific Command told Congress on Tuesday. Its goal? “Hegemony in East Asia.”

2: Syria. Russian intervention has turned the tide of war. Having rescued the Bashar al-Assad regime from collapse, relentless Russian bombing is destroying the rebel stronghold of Aleppo, Syria’s largest city, creating a massive new wave of refugees and demonstrating to the entire Middle East what a Great Power can achieve when it acts seriously.

The U.S. response? Repeated pathetic attempts by Secretary of State John Kerry to propitiate Russia (and its ally, Iran) in one collapsed peace conference after another. Last Sunday, he stepped out to announce yet another “provisional agreement in principle” on “a cessation of hostilities” that the CIA director, the defense secretary and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs deem little more than a ruse.

SnyderTalk Comment: Vacuums don’t last very long in geopolitics.

4: Hezki Ezra—Minister Elkin: PA collapse not a matter of ‘if’, but ‘when’:

Minister for Immigration and Jerusalem Affairs Ze’ev Elkin (Likud) gave a talk at Bar Ilan University this morning (Monday), in which he presented his approach to the challenges that will face Israel once Mahmoud Abbas no longer runs the Palestinian Authority.

“The current wave of terror is a preview for the collapse of the PA. Most of the likely scenarios for the day after Abu Mazen [another name for Mahmoud Abbas] will lead to a lack of organized inheritance, to an internal fight for succession, to anarchy and the dismantling of the PA,” he said. “The ones who will have to pay the price for anarchy in the PA are Israeli citizens, particularly the communities in Judea and Samaria. We must prepare for even worse attacks.”

Elkin added that “the question is not if the PA collapses but when it is going to collapse. This is the reason we must prepare our security and stop the futile discussions over whether or not it is good for the State of Israel. The PA will collapse whether we like it or not and the State of Israel had better accept that the train has left the station. At the moment, sadly, it seems that we have not yet internalized the new situation and we are not properly preparing ourselves.

SnyderTalk Comment: The problem with the PA collapsing is the desperate moves PA leaders make as it happens.  Their wealth and credibility are tied closely to the PA’s existence.  They will do anything to keep it alive.  Attacking Israel is the most effective thing they can do to garner support.

5: Elliot Friedland—New FBI Counter Extremism Site Fails to Mention Islamism:

The FBI has launched a new website to counter extremism, but it has been stripped of references to Islamist extremism or Islam.

Titled “Don’t be a Puppet,” the site tries to deconstruct some of the motivating factors that lead people into extremism. It’s aimed for use in high schools or other programs for teenagers.

The website was originally slated to launch in November 2015, but did not, following criticisms from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). At the time, CAIR expressed concerns about a new FBI “countering violent extremism” (CVE) online program that would make teachers an extension of law enforcement and may stigmatize and increase bullying of Muslim students.”

Several community organizations told The New York Times they thought the website “focuses almost entirely on Islamic extremism.”

The site was then put on hold, eventually launching in February 2016.

SnyderTalk Comment: I’m hoping for change in 2016.

I have a dream.  In my dream, truth trumps political posturing.

You can’t talk truthfully about terrorism and not talk about Islam.  It’s impossible because the two go hand-in-hand.

Islamists aren’t the only terrorists, but they are the most active; they have the largest following; and they have the most money at their disposal.

6: Uri Wilenski—The Most Hated People in the United States May Not Be Who You Think:

Which religious group is the victim of the most hate crimes in the United States?

According to the hate crime statistics kept by the FBI, Jews are the primary victims of religious hate crimes. More than 50% of all hate crimes (57% in 2014) are committed against them. For a point of comparison, anti-Muslim hate crimes in 2014 were 16%.

If you include other groupings by ethnicity, race, or sexuality, Jewish people are still at the top. They are more than three times more likely to be the victim of a hate crime than any other group. To be sure, the FBI definition of hate crimes might not correspond fully with the prevalence of hatred in our society, but they are still seen as an indicator of broad patterns.

These statistics may sound surprising. At a time that a Jewish presidential candidate won a primary election and so many Jews have prominence in many domains, how could Jewish people be the top victims of hate crimes? Yet, just as the election of Barack Obama didn’t stop racist hate crimes against African Americans, the prominence of many Jews in the United States does not protect them more generally from hate and violence.

There is a lot of coverage of hate against other groups, but one reads very little about proliferating anti-Jewish hate.

SnyderTalk Comment: Anti-Semitism is more anti-Yahweh than it is anti-Jewish.

7: Jerusalem PostAnalysis: A weakened Turkey seeks Israel’s help to break growing isolation:

Turkey finds itself in conflict with Russia and Iran, at odds with Egypt’s Sisi and has lost its standing with NATO and the US.

Even if Israel and Turkey soon announce an end to their diplomatic crisis, which began almost six years ago as a result of the Mavi Marmara flotilla ship incident, relations between the two countries will not go back to how they once were. The golden era of cooperation in the security and intelligence fields between the two countries up until a decade ago will certainly not come back.

Turkey was a large and important market for Israel’s security industries, which provided drones, intelligence systems, tank and planes upgrades, and more. For years, there was close cooperation between the Mossad and Turkey’s intelligence agency, the MIT, which included meetings, an exchange of each countries’ situational assessments and more.

This cooperation began in 1958 with the initiation of an intelligence pact between Iran’s SAVAK, under the Shah, the Mossad and Turkish intelligence. The codename in Israel for this pact was “Clil” (Complete).

These intimate relations were ended by Recep Tayyip Erdogan when he rose to power in 2002, first as prime minister, and currently as president. It was a gradual process that deteriorated after the Marmara incident. However, the 2010 flotilla was merely a symptom of a deeper issue. Yet, despite the security and intelligence disconnect and the diplomatic crisis, both commercial and tourism ties did grow under Erdogan.

SnyderTalk Comment: Turkey is finding itself between a rock and a hard place.  It’s because of Erdogan.  He is a problem, a serious problem.  The people of Turkey, most of them anyway, don’t see it.

8: Jerusalem PostGulf Arab states designate Hezbollah a terrorist group:

The six-member Gulf Cooperation Council has designated Hezbollah a terrorist organization, it said on Wednesday, ratcheting up pressure on the Iran-allied group that wields influence in Lebanon and plays a key role in the Syrian crisis.

Gulf Arab states imposed sanctions on Hezbollah members in 2013 in retaliation for the group’s intervention in Syria’s civil war in support of President Bashar Assad. And individual GCC countries – including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab emirates and Bahrain – have labeled the group terrorists.

But the GCC Secretary-General, Abdullatif al-Zayani, in a statement issued in Riyadh, said that the GCC had now taken a collective decision on the group.

“As the militia continues its terrorist practices, the GCC states have decided to label it a terrorist organization and will take the necessary measures to implement its decision in this regard based on anti-terrorism laws applied in the GCC and similar international laws,” the statement quoted Zayani as saying.

The decision came one day after a speech by Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah that Saudi Arabia had pushed Lebanon into a new phase of political conflict by announcing it was suspending an aid package to the Lebanese army.

SnyderTalk Comment: Good for the Gulf Arab states.  Hezbollah is a terrorist group.  It’s time to call it what it is.
