Israel Today—Orthodox Rabbis Bring Jesus Home for Christmas:

More than 25 prominent rabbis from Israel and abroad recently issued a statement calling for a renewed look at Jesus, Christians and the New Testament faith. Quoting from their own sages, these outstanding Orthodox rabbis are not ashamed to exalt the name of Jesus, welcoming the carpenter from Nazareth back into the Jewish fold.

“Jesus brought a double goodness to the world,” declare the group of well-known rabbis.  “On the one hand he strengthened the Torah of Moses majestically… and not one of our Sages spoke out more emphatically concerning the immutability of the Torah,” and on the other hand “he removed idols from the nations.”

Saying that Jesus, even more than any other Jewish Sage, honored, strengthened and protected the “immutability of the Torah,” is an extraordinary acknowledgement. These leading rabbis are turning the tides of history by removing one of the main stumbling blocks in the path of a major Jewish reclamation of Jesus!

You will recall, that religious Jews rejected Jesus from the beginning, with the accusation that he did not obey the Torah, therefore he could not be the awaited Messiah. In the New Testament, we find the Pharisees arguing with Jesus over Sabbath rules, dietary laws, ritual cleanliness, marriage regulations and more. They insisted that Jesus cannot be the Messiah because “he is teaching everywhere not to obey Moses.” (Acts 6:14)

What we are now witnessing is the undoing of 2,000 years of Jewish rejection and animosity towards Jesus, a miracle by any estimation. For the out-and-out refusal by Jews to accept Jesus is slowly, but surely, coming to an end, as growing numbers of prestigious Orthodox rabbis welcome Jesus back.

SnyderTalk Comment: Imagine what will happen when rabbis in Israel admit that the Messiah is Yahweh.  It will happen:

“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling. Behold, your house is being left to you desolate! For I say to you, from now on you will not see Me until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the Name of Yahweh!’” (Matthew 23: 37-39)

Times of IsraelCabinet moves to force NGOs to declare foreign government funding: The Ministerial Committee for Legislation unanimously approved a cabinet-sponsored bill Sunday requiring non-governmental organizations to declare funding from foreign countries and to note that fact on all official documents to civil servants.

SnyderTalk Comment: This is important because NGOs fund Palestinian efforts to annihilate Israel.  The money comes from ignorant donors around the world.  Making NGOs identify donors is an important step in dealing with the problem.

Anadolu AgencyErdogan calls on Muslim world to unite against terror: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called on the Muslim world to unite against terrorism. “As Muslims, we have an important mission which is to stand against organizations such as Daesh, Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, and al-Shabaab that do the greatest harm to Muslims by using the name of Islam,” Erdogan said during an address at an event in Istanbul Sunday.

The GuardianIsrael warns Brazil faces diplomatic downgrade unless it accepts settler as ambassador: Brazil’s reluctance to accept an Israeli ambassador who is a West Bank settler has led to a standoff with Israel now warning it could downgrade diplomatic relations. The appointment four months ago of Dani Dayan, a former head of the Jewish settlement movement, did not go down well with Brazil’s left-leaning government, which has supported Palestinian statehood in recent years. Most world powers deem the Jewish settlements illegal.

Arutz ShevaErekat: PLO to make ‘critical decisions’ regarding Israel: Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Secretary General Saeb Erekat on Sunday reiterated that the Palestinian leadership will soon make critical decisions regarding the relationship with Israel. In an interview with Hamas’s Al-Risala newspaper, Erekat said that in the coming days there will be an extended meeting of the Palestinian leadership to discuss the implementation of the decisions taken by the Central Council of the PLO regarding interaction with the Israelis.

TIMEISIS Leader Reportedly Warns Israel ‘We Are Getting Closer to You’: The reclusive leader of the Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) purportedly issued a dramatic warning to Israel on Saturday, with the release of an audio recording attributed to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. “We are getting closer to you day by day,” Baghdadi says in the alleged message, the Associated Press reports. “Do not think that we have forgotten about you.”

Arutz ShevaISIS terrorists reveal: We only fear Israel: Israel’s military is the only army in the world that ISIS fears, according to the only Western journalist whom the sadistic terror group has allowed into its territory. Jürgen Todenhöfer, a former member of the German Parliament, spent ten days in ISIS territory in Iraq and Syria, accompanied by his son Frederic, and published a book about his experiences. He returned convinced that the group was “preparing the largest religious cleansing in history” but told Jewish News: “The only country ISIS fears is Israel. They told me they know the Israeli army is too strong for them.”

SnyderTalk Comment: ISIS members won’t know what real fear is until they meet Yahweh. They will melt in place.

Times of IsraelUndeterrable Temple Mount advocate now next in line for Likud Knesset seat: Recovered from assassination attempt last year, Yehudah Glick will enter parliament if one more member of PM’s party leaves. And he’ll maintain his incendiary campaign for Jewish prayer on the site.

14--Blessings from Revelation 2

Blessings in the Book of Revelation is a book that you need to read, especially now.  There are blessings throughout the Scriptures but Revelation is the only book in the Bible actually containing a specific blessing for reading it. It’s repeated twice, once at the beginning and again at the end. This is the reason that I believe Revelation should be the first step toward studying biblical prophecy. Though not easy to do, Revelation can be broken down and understood by anyone, not just the academic elite. So, Revelation’s blessings are for everyone.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.
