Caroline Glick—Time for consequences [or Palestinian Treachery Should Cost them Something]:

It’s hard not to admire Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’s brazenness.

Two weeks ago, Abbas signed on to 15 international agreements that among other things require the PA to respect human rights and punish war criminals.

And this week, he signed a unity deal with two genocidal terror groups all of whose leaders are war criminals. Every leader of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, the two parties that signed the deal with the PLO, are war criminals. Under the Geneva Conventions, which Abbas signed onto just a couple of weeks ago, he is required to put them on trial, for their war crimes.

Here it is worth noting that under the Geneva Conventions, every single rocket launch from Gaza into Israeli territory is a separate war crime.

Abbas was only able to sign the Geneva Conventions on the one hand, and the unity deal with terrorist war criminals on the other, because he is utterly convinced that neither the US nor the European Union will hold him accountable for his actions. He is completely certain that neither the Americans nor the Europeans are serious about their professed commitments to upholding international law.

SnyderTalk Comment: Like undisciplined and rebellious children, “Palestinian” leaders act as though they have no fear of consequences.  They developed that attitude because they have been allowed to get away with murder—both literally and figuratively.

It’s time for a change.  It’s time to hold them accountable.  It’s time to show them how vulnerable and dependent they are.

This is how Yahweh described Ishmael and his descendants—i.e. today’s “Palestinians”: “He will be a wild donkey of a man, his hand will be against everyone, and everyone’s hand will be against him.” (Genesis 16: 12)

As always, Yahweh hit the nail on the head.  That’s why no one, and I mean no one, wants anything to do with the “Palestinians”.  The Arabs, Persians, and Ottomans who appear to support the “Palestinian” cause are hypocritical and insincere.  They are for “Palestinians” simply because “Palestinians” are against Israel.  That’s the extent of their “support” in a nutshell.

Their Arab brethren refuse to integrate them into their countries for obvious reasons.  Everywhere “Palestinians” go, they manufacture trouble.  Just ask the leaders in Lebanon and Jordan.  Those countries have suffered mightily because of “Palestinian” deceitfulness.

Arab nations would rather inflict “Palestinians” on Israel and let Israel suffer.  That’s a fact, and it’s common knowledge among the well-informed.  Regrettably, that’s something that Barack Obama and John Kerry are not, or if they are well-informed, they are diabolical.

David Horovitz: Abbas Embraces the Islamists—When announcing the Fatah-Hamas reconciliation deal, Hamas’ Gaza prime minister, Ismail Haniyeh, far from expressing an improbable new desire to enter talks with the Zionist enemy, restated his organization’s consistent position that the peace process with Israel does not serve Palestinian strategic interests. The Palestinian shift we are observing is not one of Hamas undergoing moderation, but of Abbas’ Fatah willingly submitting itself to the bear hug of the Islamic extremists. Abbas has not been prepared to work energetically to create a climate among his people in favor of the compromises necessary for Palestinian statehood alongside, and peace with, Israel. He’s not reined in the toxic anti-Israel orientation of the Palestinian media. He’s not revolutionized the Palestinian education system. He’s hailed evil men and women who have murdered Israelis, extorted their releases from Israel’s jails as his price for consenting to negotiate with Israel, and welcomed them home as heroes.

Nasouh Nazzal: Analyst: There Will Never Be Palestinian Reconciliation—Reconciliation is a method for the Palestinian leadership to pressure Israel, said Dr. Abdul Sattar Qasem, who heads the Political Science Department at Al Najah University in Nablus in the West Bank. “The Ramallah leadership uses this tactic as a negotiating tool to press Israel and the U.S. Administration, knowing that reconciliation with Hamas will have major implications for the entire peace process….Fatah and the Ramallah government have used this tactic several times in the past.” “Neither Fatah nor Hamas is serious about Palestinian reconciliation,” he maintained.

Guy Bechor: Ending Illusion of Peace-Seeking Abbas—Mahmoud Abbas’ decision to join forces with Hamas, whether it happens or not, is a slap in the face of anyone who saw him as a “partner,” and especially U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and the EU. The Palestinian Authority has received close to 7 billion euros from the EU since 1994, unconditionally and unsupervised, but new legislation by the European Parliament plenum on April 3, 2014, has set some conditions. If the PA sets up a joint government with Hamas, it will be impossible to transfer even one cent to it, because Hamas is officially a terrorist organization, both in Washington and Europe. Unity with Hamas is a slap in the face for many of the Arab regimes too, as it is basically a shift to cooperating with their enemy, the Muslim Brotherhood. It is an insult to Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and other states that see radical Islam as an existential threat.

David M. Weinberg: Regaining control in Jerusalem— I salute Ari and Naomi Zivotofsky for tenaciously pursuing the American government to have their son registered as having been born in Jerusalem, Israel — a case which they are now taking for a second time to the U.S. Supreme Court. But the real struggle over Jerusalem as Israel’s capital is underway every day in Jerusalem itself. At present, Israel is evincing a weak hand and losing the battle.

Elliott Abrams: Why Kerry on?— U.S. Secretary of State Kerry has put enormous effort into the Israeli-Palestinian negotiations. Most recently, there has been talk of a three-way deal wherein Israel releases 426 prisoners (some of them murderers, and some of them citizens of Israel), the United States releases the spy Jonathan Pollard, and the Palestine Liberation Organization agrees to stay at the negotiating table for a year. But with today’s news, one has to ask, “What is the point?”

Joshua Levitt: Russia Today Anchor: People Think ‘There is Too Much Jewish Money in America’—Rory Suchet, news anchor for Kremlin-controlled television channel Russia Today, was accused of  saying that some people think “Jewish money controls a huge amount of foreign policy in Washington” and “there is too much Jewish money in America.” He also alleged that other news channels are controlled by “financiers” and “corporations,” all part of the “military-industrial complex.”

Rafael Medoff: Libyan Family’s Travails Provides Glimpse at Jews in Arab World During Holocaust—Although the commemoration of Yom HaShoah focuses primarily on the ghettoes and death camps in Europe, the persecution of Jews in North Africa and the Middle East during the Holocaust has gained increasing attention in recent years. For Ben-Gurion University professor Maurice Roumani, a scholar of the history of Jews in Arab countries, the subject has a personal dimension as well: members of his own extended family in Libya endured everything from expulsions, to a 1,200-mile trek through the Saharan desert, to deportations to Bergen-Belsen.

Maj. Gen. (res.) Yaacov Amidror: Israel Cannot Accept the Emerging Accord between the U.S. and Iran—An accord between the P5+1 and Iran that would allow Iran to maintain a full nuclear fuel cycle is unacceptable to Israel. None of the assumptions behind the emerging accord are sound: Neither the assumption that a monitoring regime could guarantee identification in real time of Iranian violations; nor the assumption that the U.S. would act with alacrity if a breach is identified; nor the assumption that in the real world Iran will truly be deterred by U.S. threats. An agreement along these lines would be far worse than no agreement, and could force Israel to respond independently.

Asaf Romirowsky: The Evenhandedness Trap—Prevalent among American foreign policy-makers is the view that both parties in the negotiations, Israelis and Palestinians, are equally responsible and equally to blame. This is a flawed reading of the Arab-Israeli conflict. Instead, one must start with the fact that the majority of the Arab-Muslim world has always seen the Jewish state as an abomination. Palestinian national identity is predicated on winning a zero-sum struggle with Zionism, not a vision of a state of their own.

Jurgen Buhler: What would Jesus do about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict?— By the time Jesus came along, the Samaritans had lived in the land for more than 700 years. They developed their own narrative of the region’s history and considered themselves the true Israel and rightful heirs of the land, claiming descent from Ephraim and Manasseh. The temple in Jerusalem was considered an apostate shrine and its worship blasphemous to God. During the time of Alexander the Great, the Samaritans built an alternative temple on their holy mountain of Mt. Gerizim—the biblical “Mountain of Blessing” overlooking Shechem. Meantime, the Jews did not recognize the Samaritans as part of their people and would not allow them to enter the temple in Jerusalem. Yet when Jesus was a child, around 6-9 A.D., Samaritans reportedly forced their way into the temple during Passover and desecrated it by throwing bones into the sanctuary. Indeed, for centuries it was a relationship characterised by tension and disdain. Jewish writings from 200 B.C. called Samaritans “the foolish people.”

4--Scripture of the Day Yahweh

Genesis 3: 20-24

20 Now the man called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all the living. 21 Yahweh Elohim made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and clothed them. 22 Then Yahweh Elohim said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might stretch out his hand, and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”— 23 therefore Yahweh Elohim sent him out from the garden of Eden, to cultivate the ground from which he was taken. 24 So He drove the man out; and at the east of the garden of Eden He stationed the cherubim and the flaming sword which turned every direction to guard the way to the tree of life.

14--Blessings from Revelation 2

Blessings in the Book of Revelation is a book that you need to read, especially now.  There are blessings throughout the Scriptures but Revelation is the only book in the Bible actually containing a specific blessing for reading it. It’s repeated twice, once at the beginning and again at the end. This is the reason that I believe Revelation should be the first step toward studying biblical prophecy. Though not easy to do, Revelation can be broken down and understood by anyone, not just the academic elite. So, Revelation’s blessings are for everyone.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.

Other Books by Neil Snyder

  • Stand! is a suspense novel that exposes the lies, corruption, and greed underlying the theory that man-made CO2 emissions are responsible for global warming.  Professor Wes Carlyle and Karen Sterling, his research collaborator, carefully scan the audience for their would-be attacker—a member of the enviro-gestapo who has been following them for days.  Wes spots his man in the back of the room leaning against the wall.  Suddenly, another man in the audience steps forward and moves toward Karen at a menacing pace.  With a vicious stroke, he swings a billy club at her head.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.
  • What Will You Do with the Rest of Your Life? deals with a question that every Christian has to consider: what should I do with my life?  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.
  • Falsely Accused is a true story about a young woman who was accused of committing a double homicide.  It’s about a travesty of justice, and it reveals Yahweh intervening in the life of a believer to rescue her from danger in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.  Everyone will enjoy the book, but young people in particular need to read it because the mistakes made that led to the problem could have been avoided.  They were the kinds of mistakes that young people are prone to make.  As they say, forewarned is forearmed.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.
