Earl Cox—Stop the Lie! America IS at War with Islam:

President Obama stated, while speaking in Cairo on June 4, 2009, “The United States is not, and never will be, at war with Islam.” Since then he has made this same statement on numerous occasions. This is totally inaccurate. In truth, America is being lulled into a deep sleep as a result of our Islamic ignorance.

The State Department has put out an international warning for all United States citizens traveling abroad to be very cautionary in their travel arrangements through the end of August.  U. S. Embassies are closing in many Middle Eastern countries from Algeria to Bangladesh.  In true to form Islamic based terrorism, no one knows what is going to happen, nor do we know when or where.  This is the worst form of terrorism, the unknown plan of attack.

Based on our so called “intelligence gathering,” we are in the midst of a major threat from a Yemen based Al-Qaeda stronghold located just east of Saudi Arabia.  Interestingly, according to our current administration, when we sent our elite Navy Seals in to eradicate the existence of Osama bin Laden, we took to the streets shouting that the war on terror was somehow in its last days.  Even our President said that the days of Al-Qaeda and the Taliban were numbered and their time was coming to an end.

Daniel Greenfield: Israel’s Sacrifices of Peace Must End— In one of the most famous events in the Bible, G-d commanded Abraham to sacrifice his only son. So Abraham took his son Isaac, bound him on an altar and prepared to bring him up as a burnt offering. And then the voice of the angel called to him and told him not to harm his son. G-d did not want human sacrifices. The peace process does.

Steve Apfel: Israel boycotters: The goose and the golden egg—Popular causes of the world have a political dynamic. This makes causes prone to high-jacking, and from there on they’re messy through and through. Politics corrupts. Conscience commands a price. Avarice drowns integrity. Fortune attends reputation. Fame attends both; and the road to fame likes nothing more than a people oppressed, for real or contrived. Only look at the Palestinians, the world’s favourite cause. Look at the godfather, Yasser Arafat, and the gentlemen in that ‘pound seat’ now. Money – buckets of free money predispose demagogues to care nothing for bettering their people. And why should they? Search the planet for a politician who’d disturb a state of limbo if it meant turning off a money tap.

Riva Pomerantz: Israel Calls— This summer, our family will be leaving Cleveland and moving East, and I don’t mean the East Coast. We’ll be going very East – right on over to the Middle East. In July, with God’s help, we’ll be making aliyah to Israel.

Frank Gaffney Jr.: Willful blindness, mortal peril— Diana West’s splendid new book, “American Betrayal: The Secret Assault on Our Nation’s Character,” is an expose of a practice that she persuasively argues has cost us dearly in the past and endangers our future. Former federal prosecutor-turned-pundit Andrew C. McCarthy calls it “willful blindness,” and we indulge in it at our extreme peril.

Peyvand Khorsandi: Iran’s New President? I See Only an Old and Vicious Regime—I’ve been asked a number of times what I think of Hassan Rouhani, the new Iranian president. As an Iranian exile, I don’t think much – or I’d be on the first plane home. There should be no doubt the man is one of “Them” – an unabashed Islamist: if he is a moderate or a reformer, I’m the Jolly Green Giant.

Walter Russell Mead: The War on Terror Is Here to Stay—With the latest intercepted chatter indicating that a major attack is being planned, and with the corresponding shuttering of U.S. embassies across the world, it’s clear that al-Qaeda has adjusted to American tactics and taken advantage of the widespread chaos across the Middle East.

Boaz Bismuth: Another victory like this and we’ve lost— The truth is, contrary to what the Obama administration would have us think, the threat of terrorism against the U.S. is not actually disappearing.

Prof. Alexander Bligh: Why is winning in Yemen important?— If Yemen falls to al-Qaida, the group will gain control of one of the world’s most important international waterways, putting the West in grave danger.

Silvio Canto, Jr.: Obama’s national security silence is unacceptable— Day 3 of the embassy closings and now we are evacuating US personnel from the region. The UK, too! Again, we are not second guessing the US government. It’s better to be safe than sorry. Nevertheless, it’s fair to criticize a mind set – the idea that somehow terrorists will go away if we stop thinking about them, announce early withdrawals or promise to close GITMO.  This mind set has not made us stronger, safer or more respected, whatever “more respected” means.

Lloyd Billingsley: No Justice for Victims of Terrorist Nidal Hasan— “I hear someone yell ‘Allahu akbar,’” Sergeant Shawn Manning told Army Times. “Usually something bad is going to follow after that, so I look up at him and he started shooting. He probably fired five or six shots before he shot me in the chest.” Manning, a veteran of two deployments in Iraq, was referring to Major Nidal Malik Hasan, the U.S. Army psychiatrist who gunned down 13 and wounded 32 at Fort Hood, Texas, in November 2009. Nearly four years later the case is finally coming to trial but it is already clear that Major Hasan received more preferential treatment than his victims.

4--Scripture of the Day USE THIS ONE

Hosea 11: 1-2

When Israel was a youth I loved him, and out of Egypt I called My son. The more they called them, the more they went from them; they kept sacrificing to the Baals and burning incense to idols.

14--Blessings from Revelation 2

Blessings in the Book of Revelation is a book that you need to read, especially now.  There are blessings throughout the Scriptures but Revelation is the only book in the Bible actually containing a specific blessing for reading it. It’s repeated twice, once at the beginning and again at the end. This is the reason that I believe Revelation should be the first step toward studying biblical prophecy. Though not easy to do, Revelation can be broken down and understood by anyone, not just the academic elite. So, Revelation’s blessings are for everyone.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.
