Sukkot or the Feast of Tabernacles
Yesterday was the final installment of His Name is Yahweh excerpts as SnyderTalk editorials. My goal from Day One has been to get the message in the book out to as many people as possible. Anyone in the world can access that message in a form that is suitable to them and their pocketbooks.
The book is now available for a nominal price as an eBook and as a paperback. It is also available free of charge over the internet in PDF format. It’s been available in that form since 2006, and to date, more than a million copies of the book have been downloaded for free by people from all over the world. Even more, in the neighborhood of 30,000 times each month, people are downloading the book and sharing it with their family and friends at no cost.
I am thrilled that the message is getting out, and I’m excited about playing a part in the process of telling people who God is by Name. Without a doubt, this has been the most exciting activity in my life so far, and I’m looking forward to even more exciting adventures as we approach the End of Days because Yahweh is going to appear in Person and tell us His Name. When He does, all doubt will be removed. Both the pronunciation of His Name and its importance will be clear to everyone.
Yesterday was also the beginning of Sukkot (the Feast of Tabernacles), and I’m turning a new leaf. Each day during Sukkot, I will explain something about Sukkot and tell you what the gathering is like in Glen Rose, Texas where Katie and I are. We arrived after a two-day drive, and I was exhausted. Thankfully, I was able to take a long nap before preparing today’s SnyderTalk. More than anything else, Sukkot is about spending time with Yahweh and fellow believers in a relaxed atmosphere and celebrating the imminent return of our Savior, our Creator, and our God.
It might interest you to know that the Messiah was probably born during Sukkot, not during Christmas, and according to the Scriptures, Sukkot is a mandatory feast. After Yahweh’s return, people from all over the world will make pilgrimages to Jerusalem to celebrate Sukkot with Him in Person. In 2006, Katie and I celebrated Sukkot in Jerusalem, and we look forward to doing it again soon in His personal presence. I like to think of it as a party that Yahweh prepared, and He invited all of His people to attend. As I told a preacher friend, if Yahweh throws a party and I’m invited, I’m going.

Blessings in the Book of Revelation is a book that you need to read, especially now. There are blessings throughout the Scriptures but Revelation is the only book in the Bible actually containing a specific blessing for reading it. It’s repeated twice, once at the beginning and again at the end. This is the reason that I believe Revelation should be the first step toward studying biblical prophecy.
