Let Yahweh Direct Your Path

Over the years, Yahweh has given me a heart for Israel, the Jewish people, and Jerusalem, and He used Isaiah 62: 6-7 to guide my thinking:

“On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen.  All day and all night, they will never keep silent.  You who remind Yahweh, take no rest for yourselves and give Him no rest until He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” Isaiah 62: 6-7

These verses tell us plainly that Yahweh has appointed watchmen over Jerusalem, and He has commanded them to pray day and night until He makes Jerusalem “a praise in the earth.”  That’s what I do, and I pray that He will make me one of those watchmen.  If you are not familiar with what Yahweh said in the Bible about Israel and Jerusalem, you should look into it because it’s important.  Who knows?  You may be one of those watchmen, too.

Eventually, Yahweh led me to write a book titled His Name is Yahweh.  I did it, and when I finished, I realized that it’s almost impossible to find a Christian publisher for a book that challenges conventional Christian traditions or introduces information that is not familiar to most believers.  One publisher after another rejected my manuscript because it contains the Name Yahweh, and it presents information from the Bible proving that Jesus said He is Yahweh.

Since the Bible says that we have salvation in Yahweh’s Name, I was surprised, but I kept trying to find a publisher until I realized that there was no hope.  Finally, I quit trying and turned it over to Yahweh.  He led me to create a website called His Name is Yahweh and to make my book available for free on that website.  I did, and the site has been up and running since December 2006.  It’s currently getting about 40,000 hits a month from people around the world.

His Name is Yahweh is loaded with material that can be downloaded at no cost.  I encourage people to copy and share everything on the site freely, and they’re doing it.  Regularly, I get emails from people who are using my material in Bible study groups and in many other ways.

Even though I couldn’t find a publisher for His Name is Yahweh, through that website, I have given away more than a million copies of the book, and about 30,000 copies are being downloaded for free each month.  Since I encourage people to copy and share the material, there’s no telling how many people have read the book—a book that Christian publishing houses rejected.  I have a hunch that there are not many Christian books besides the Bible that have sold more than a million copies since December 2006.  That should tell you something about Yahweh’s power and about the importance of following Him.

In July 2009, Yahweh led me to start SnyderTalk.  As you know, it’s updated daily with important news items from Israel, the U.S., and other countries across the globe.  SnyderTalk also includes editorials from me and opinion pieces from some of the world’s leading thinkers.  Currently, SnyderTalk averages more than 10,000 hits a day, and it’s growing rapidly.  Under Pages in the column on the right of each SnyderTalk post, you will find a wealth of information about Israel that you need to know.  If you haven’t examined the pages, you should.

Both His Name is Yahweh and SnyderTalk are part of something that Yahweh told me I would do for Him more than 35 years ago.  I had no idea at the time what He would do to get me on the right path because I was working on a Ph.D. degree in business at the time.  Little did I know that writing and speaking in front of large groups would become important, but that’s what I was learning to do while I studied and wrote about business issues.  In due course, I realized that understanding business was only a small part of what I was learning.  Yahweh works in mysterious ways, and following Him should be our primary goal.

Blessings in the Book of Revelation is a book that you need to read, especially now.  There are blessings throughout the Scriptures but Revelation is the only book in the Bible actually containing a specific blessing for reading it. It’s repeated twice, once at the beginning and again at the end. This is the reason that I believe Revelation should be the first step toward studying biblical prophecy.
