The freedom and flexibility that money allows is a great blessing, but the money itself is nothing more than a tool we can use to do the things that God wants us to do. Don’t make the mistake of believing that creating wealth is your end goal. It is not.
If your money comes between you and God, it becomes your idol, your god. Remember that righteousness, not money, delivers from death. Jesus said it this way:
“For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul? For what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” Mark 8: 36-37
It doesn’t profit you one bit simply to accumulate wealth, and no amount of money can save your soul. King Solomon said it a little differently:
“He who trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like the green leaf.” (Proverbs 11: 28)
Anyone who has faith in his own ability to create wealth and doesn’t actively involve God in his plans and acknowledge God’s role in his successes is worshipping an idol as well. That person is his own god, and he is worshipping himself. Don’t make the mistake of believing that you are the controller of your own destiny. You are not and the sooner you accept that fact the better.

Jeremiah 41: 17-18
And they went and stayed in Geruth Chimham, which is beside Bethlehem, in order to proceed into Egypt because of the Chaldeans; for they were afraid of them, since Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had struck down Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon had appointed over the land.

Falsely Accused is a true story about a young woman who was accused of committing a double homicide. It’s about a travesty of justice, and it reveals Yahweh intervening in the life of a believer to rescue her from danger in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. Everyone will enjoy the book, but young people in particular need to read it because the mistakes made that led to the problem could have been avoided. They were the kinds of mistakes that young people are prone to make. As they say, forewarned is forearmed. Click here to order the eBook. Click here to order the paperback.

His Name is Yahweh explains why the Name of God, Yahweh, is so important. It’s available in eBook format and in paperback.
God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘Yahweh, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ This [Yahweh] is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation.”
Exodus 3: 15
