An incident yesterday that will attract attention, but not nearly enough, took place in Washington, D.C. The attorney general for D.C. accused a D.C. district HIV/AIDS service provider of spending almost $350,000 to start a strip club. Liberals and gay rights activists will be quick to point out that there are crooks in every profession and in every societal group. They’re right, of course, but this incident stands out because strip clubs are places that homosexuals frequent to find sex partners. Thus, it was no coincidence that the service provider in question decided to open a strip club.

While it’s true that there are bad apples in every barrel, the homosexual community is built entirely around perverted sexual behavior. That separates it from most other groups in profound ways. The cost in dollars of HIV/AIDS to our society is so high and the consequence of contagion is so deadly that we can’t ignore the problem or brush it aside by claiming that the homosexual lifestyle is just another alternative way of living. Truth is it’s a way of dying prematurely at public expense. That’s one important reason why we can’t continue to permit our government to condone the homosexual lifestyle.

Standing against homosexual marriage, gays in the military, and other forms of perversion isn’t just a moral issue. It’s a dollars and sense issue as well. Know where you stand and speak your mind. If you don’t, the slippery slope we’re on will take us past the Tipping Point.
