Scripture of the day:
Isaiah 34: 5-6—“For My sword is satiated in heaven, behold it shall descend for judgment upon Edom and upon the people whom I have devoted to destruction. The sword of Yahweh is filled with blood, it is sated with fat, with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams. For Yahweh has a sacrifice in Bozrah and a great slaughter in the land of Edom.”

- The “True Freedom Flotilla”
SnyderTalk Commentary: Consider the obvious inconsistency here:
- IDF soldiers board a ship bound for Gaza to search for weapons they know will be used against Israel. They are attacked after having given the ships in the flotilla the option of landing in Ashdod and unloading the cargo there. In the process, the soldiers are attacked with lethal weapons, and one of them is almost lynched. They took defensive action to protect their lives. They broke no law and did everything that was humanly possible to avoid a confrontation.
- Hamas kidnaps an IDF soldier and holds him for ransom for 4 years. Each time it looks as though an exchange deal is at hand, Hamas ups the ante. Now they are threatening to raise Shalit’s price again, as if he was a commodity, and they’ve done it publically for all the world to see.
Israel is condemned by the world and Hamas is planning a bigger flotilla with enthusiastic global support. There is no logical way to explain the inconsistency. There must be more going on than meets the eye.
It reminds me of Yahweh’s promise to Hagar about Ishmael. “He will be a wild donkey of a man, his hand will be against everyone, and everyone’s hand will be against him; and he will live to the east of all his brothers.” (Genesis 16: 12) For your information, people who call themselves “Palestinians” are descendants of Abraham through Ishmael. That helps to explain Hamas’ problem, but what about the people around the world who support them? They’re being influenced by someone, and it’s not Yahweh.
Listen up world. One day you’ll meet your Maker.

SnyderTalk Commentary: What are the telltale signs of schizophrenia? In a nutshell, “it most commonly manifests as auditory hallucinations, paranoid or bizarre delusions, or disorganized speech and thinking with significant social or occupational dysfunction.” If any top government official in the world announced a major policy decision and then reversed it in the same day (or in the same speech), people would quickly look for a replacement because the evidence would be clear. He or she has a serious mental disorder.
Rational people throughout the world don’t trust Iran with nuclear power that has the potential to be developed into nuclear weapons. Will this development attract much global media attention? We’ll see. Whether it does or not, the facts point to an inescapable conclusion. Iran’s leaders aren’t just radical Islamists. They’re deranged, radical Islamists. Pray for the people of Iran. They need our prayer support desperately.
