It is also time for us to realize that we must present Yeshua accurately and completely. He is our Savior; He is our God; and His Name is Yahweh. Adjusting to this reality is not quick and easy for most of us.

Isaiah 19: 17-25—“The land of Judah will become a terror to Egypt; everyone to whom it is mentioned will be in dread of it, because of the purpose of Yahweh Sabaoth which He is purposing against them. In that day five cities in the land of Egypt will be speaking the language of Canaan and swearing allegiance to Yahweh Sabaoth; one will be called the City of Destruction. In that day there will be an altar to Yahweh in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to Yahweh near its border. It will become a sign and a witness to Yahweh Sabaoth in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to Yahweh because of oppressors, and He will send them a Savior and a Champion, and He will deliver them. Thus Yahweh will make Himself known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know Yahweh in that day. They will even worship with sacrifice and offering, and will make a vow to Yahweh and perform it. Yahweh will strike Egypt, striking but healing; so they will return to Yahweh, and He will respond to them and will heal them. It’s Time to Declare that Yeshua is Yahweh

Most Christians have a firm grip on Yeshua’s role in our redemption and salvation, but somewhere down the line the importance of the Name “Yahweh” was lost. It is time for us to recognize that Yeshua is Yahweh and that His Name has enormous significance. It is also time for us to realize that we must present Yeshua accurately and completely. He is our Savior; He is our God; and His Name is Yahweh! Adjusting to this reality is not quick and easy for most of us. Here are some reasons why:

Some Christian people, especially those who have attended church and read the Bible regularly for many years, have difficulty making the transition. Their resistance is understandable from a human perspective. Most of them read Bibles in which God’s Name does not appear, and they have never heard a preacher mention the Name “Yahweh” from the pulpit. Using common human logic, they conclude that if this were true they would have heard it long ago.
Other Christians already recognize that God’s Name is important because the Bible makes this point repeatedly, but they wonder about the correct pronunciation of His Name. Thus, they may dismiss the issue thinking it must not be all that significant. Using common human logic, they conclude that the Holy Spirit would have made certain to preserve His Name for us in whatever Bible translation we read if knowing His Name were important.
Another group of Christians may be thinking, “I still don’t understand why God’s Name is important so why should I use it?”

I wish I could tell you all the reasons why Yahweh’s Name is important, but I can’t. However, I do know these facts. Joel, Peter, and Paul said everyone who calls on the Name of Yahweh will be saved. Yahweh told us that He is our One and only Savior, and Yeshua said He is Yahweh. So this is my response to anyone who questions the importance of God’s Name: the Name “Yahweh” is important because He said it is! I hope you don’t require a better or more authoritative explanation than that. If you do, then you have a problem with Yahweh’s Word.

How do you think Yahweh feels when people reject His Word? He died for us, and He commanded us to share His Name with the world. Refusing to obey Yahweh once you know the truth is analogous to the sin Adam committed in the Garden of Eden. It is an act of moral independence and a sin of the highest magnitude.

The fact that Yahweh has blessed us despite our not knowing His Name and our not obeying Him by declaring His Name to the world says a lot about Him:

It tells us that He will allow us to make serious mistakes, even with something as essential as His Name, and still bless us if we are ignorant of the truth.
It demonstrates that He will bless us even if we misunderstand the significance of something as crucial as His Name if we are seeking the truth.
Its shows that Yahweh is merciful and kind to people who disobey Him in ignorance as long as they are attempting to obey Him.

But please do not confuse Yahweh’s love, grace, mercy, patience, kindness, and forgiveness with His approval of our willful disobedience. He does not, and He will not, condone sin. Once we know what we are supposed to do, Yahweh expects us to obey Him, and not obeying Him is an act of moral independence. As I said, Yahweh reserves to Himself the exclusive right to determine right and wrong, and He alone has the privilege of deciding how He will save mankind. This is a fact, and we would be foolish to ignore it.
