Today’s Feature
The Messiah is Called “Mighty God” and “Eternal Father”
According to the Bible, it is an undeniable fact that the Messiah and Yahweh are One. Take a look at Isaiah 9: 6-7:
“For a Child will be born to us, a Son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His Name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from then on and forevermore. The zeal of Yahweh Sabaoth will accomplish this.”
The Child referred to in this passage is the Messiah, and two of His Names are “Mighty God” and “Eternal Father.” Now ask yourself this question. What Person mentioned in the Bible did Yahweh ever refer to as “Mighty God” or “Eternal Father?” The answer is only One Person—Himself. Therefore, the Messiah is Yahweh.
Now take a look at Jeremiah 23: 5-6:
“Behold, the days are coming, declares Yahweh, when I shall raise up for David a righteous Branch; and He will reign as king and act wisely and do justice and righteousness in the land. In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely; and this is His Name by which He will be called, Yahweh our Righteousness.”
David’s righteous Branch is the Messiah, and His Name is Yahweh Tsidkenu—or Yahweh our Righteousness. The Midrash accepts this fact without reservation or qualification:
“What is the name of the King Messiah? Rabbi Abba, son of Kahana, said: Jehovah (Yahweh); for it is written, ‘This is his name whereby he shall be called, the Lord our Righteousness.’” (Midrash on Lamentations 1: 16)
If you have doubts about whether the Messiah is Yahweh, you need to remember what God’s Word says about Abraham: “Then he (Abraham) believed in Yahweh; and He reckoned it to him as righteousness.” (Genesis 15: 6)
God’s ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. As high as the heavens are above the earth, so are His ways higher than our ways and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. We must simply have faith in Yahweh and believe His Word. His Word is incredibly clear. The Messiah is Yahweh. They are One.

Is this a joke? Obviously not. I agree with the video. What has President Obama actually done and does it even matter? The answers must be “nothing” and “no.”
The skids are greased for Obama. Who greased them? That’s a good question. For your information, Obama was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize 12 days after he was sworn in as President of the United States. I guess I’ll have to put Obama on the same pedestal where I keep Fat Albert, Jimmy (Peanut) Carter, and Yasser Arafat. They go well together.
