Yahweh Appears to Isaiah
In about 740 B.C., Yahweh appeared to Isaiah and commissioned him to deliver His message to the Children of Israel. Isaiah’s description of Yahweh is very interesting, and you can find it in Isaiah 6: 1-4. When he saw Yahweh, all Isaiah could say was this:
“Woe is me! I am lost, for I am a man of unclean lips and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, Yahweh Sabaoth.” (Isaiah 6: 5)
The magnificence of Yahweh’s appearance and His absolute purity were so striking that Isaiah was forced to see himself correctly. He was compelled to admit that he was a sinner and that he lived among sinners. That is exactly what each one of us must understand. Only then can we begin to appreciate who Yahweh is. He is the Holy One of Israel, the One and only God, and He will accept no blemishes!
The Bible provides abundant evidence to support the belief that Yahweh has a human form. The Bible also makes clear that Yahweh intervenes Personally in history to perform His Word and to fulfill His promises. The human form of Yahweh is the Messiah. We know that because that’s what Yahweh told Jeremiah. (Jeremiah 23: 5-6)
Redundancy is a common practice used by engineers for our safety and protection. For instance, airplanes are equipped with redundant systems so that if one fails the pilot can still land the plane safely. Yahweh used this practice in the Scriptures for our protection. Because of its unparalleled importance, Yahweh’s role in the redemption and salvation of His people is the most redundant message in the Scriptures.
Commentary
- ACORN’s co-founder defends group’s integrity, blasts “unfair” critics
- Conservatives draw blood from ACORN
Give me a break. The latest flap stems from clandestine videotaping of ACORN staffers telling someone they thought was a prostitute how to qualify for a loan by claiming she was a service provider. The ACORN staffers also advised the young woman on matters relating to bringing young girls into the country illegally so they could work for her in her establishment. If that’s not corruption, I don’t know what is.
Facts are stubborn things, and ACORN has a long history of corrupt, and I think illegal, practices. Take a look at the articles below and see what I mean:
- ACORN corruption runs rampant
- ACORN corruption
- House panel hears testimony on ACORN corruption and coercion
Google it and you’ll see that this is a small sample of the thousands of articles about ACORN’s corrupt practices. They reveal flagrant problems that aren’t new. President Obama may be naïve and self-absorbed, but he isn’t stupid. How could he have been so close to ACORN for so long and not be a little suspicious? To me, that says a lot about his innate curiosity. And how can the dems in Congress continue to cozy up to ACORN as if it were a respectable organization? As far as I’m concerned, it’s as plain as day. There doesn’t appear to be any difference between ACORN and organized crime. It looks to me like a sort of Murder, Inc. with taxpayer support. My adrenalin starts to flow when I think about tax dollars going to support ACORN and organizations like it. It’s like funding Al Capone’s community organizing activities. Come to think of it, Al was from Chicago too. I think I’ll stop with that lest the House try to censure me…or worse.

Well, there he goes again. He doesn’t learn very quickly. Here is a question for you, Mr. Carter. If racism is behind our opposition to Mr. Obama, what’s behind our opposition to you? Don’t tell me that it’s animosity toward Southerners because I’m from South Georgia too. My problem with you stems from the fact that I think you are in over your head, and you don’t know when to keep quiet. That’s the same problem I have with President Obama.
