Eventually, the Truth will Win, but it will Experience a lot of Resistance
Lies can’t take hold in a nation and drive decision making unless people who know the truth are prevented from telling it.
In our country, we have seen people in power in government and in the media (social and establishment) do things that are unconscionable and things that border on criminal to control the narrative about almost everything. For the most part, we have allowed them to get away with it. That has to stop.
The Department of Justice and the FBI have been coconspirators in some of those efforts related to social media in particular. I think that is illegal, but to find out, people in those agencies must be charged with criminal offenses. That’s not likely to happen if the people in charge at the DOJ and the FBI are part of the criminal enterprise.
I’ll give you a couple of examples.
Adam Schiff and Russia Collusion
Adam Schiff is a member of Congress from California. As soon as Donald Trump was elected president, he started screaming “Russia collusion”. He continued to scream it until former FBI Director Robert Mueller completed an independent investigation that lasted more than 2 years and cost tens of millions of dollars.
Mueller’s investigative team was a group of attorneys with strong ties to the Democrat Party. They did everything imaginable to find something that would tie President Trump to Vladimir Putin, so they could undermine his presidency and possibly impeach him. When the investigation ended halfway through Trump’s presidency, Muller had to admit publicly that there was no evidence of Russia collusion.
President Trump did nothing that even resembled colluding with the Russians to win the 2016 election, but thanks to Adam Schiff primarily, that false narrative was repeated continually for the first half of Trump’s presidency, and it got a lot of traction among Democrats and people who lean in their direction. Adam Schiff is a bald-faced liar. Mueller’s report made that crystal clear, but Schiff never admitted his guilt or even hinted at an apology. Instead, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi put him in charge of impeaching the president. Schiff spent the next two years building a case for impeachment.
During his impeachment investigation in the House, Schiff used the same tactics he had used during his “Russia collusion” assault on Trump. He told lies repeatedly and did everything within his power to prevent the truth from being told. It didn’t work, but those lies became part of the narrative for the second half of Trump’s presidency.
All four years of Donald Trump’s presidency were filled with lies that were told by people like Schiff and Pelosi. People in the media were in cahoots with them. They did everything they could do to sell Schiff’s and Pelosi’s lies to the American people. I have never seen anything like.
Don’t get me wrong. I have heard lies before, and I have seen liars trying to sell their false narratives. But I have never seen anything that comes close to matching what I saw during Donald Trump’s four years in office. Schiff, Pelosi, the DOJ, the FBI, and others are still at it. They are obsessed with Donald Trump. They really do have Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Climate Change
When I was in undergraduate school, global cooling was the boogeyman that Democrats used to scare people. They told us that the world was entering a cool period during which starvation would kill a large percentage of the global population, because we would not be able to grow enough food to fed them.
That false narrative failed to produce results, because Earth was coming out of the Little Ice Age and getting warmer. The Little Ice Age started in the mid-1300s and lasted until the mid-1800s. For about 500 years, global cooling really did influence the global population. Famine and disease killed millions of people. There were mass migrations of people who were trying desperately to survive.
Things started changing in the mid-1800s when the Little Ice Age ended, but it took fearmongers almost 150 years to figure out that selling global cooling was like beating a dead horse. Eventually, they changed their tune. Instead of telling us that global cooling would destroy the planet, they told us that global warming would do it.
The new false narrative didn’t take hold until the late-1980s and early-1990s. By that time, global warming had virtually stopped. Today, we are spending trillions of dollars globally to prevent global warming from destroying the planet while Earth is moving in the direction of a cooling cycle. It’s ironic that at this very moment while I am writing this SnyderTalk we are experiencing what is being called “the blizzard of the century”. This is the truth. Humans have and have had practically no effect on Earth’s climate. Our climate has been in a state of flux since the beginning, and it will remain in a state of flux. There is nothing that humans can do about global climate change expect learn to adapt. Those who adapt will survive. Others won’t. That is a message that fearmongers don’t want you to hear. They are led by Democrats and their operatives in the media and the social media. People who challenge the new false narrative are silenced or marginalized by the propagators of the new lies.

In the end, nothing can prevent the truth from getting out. Eventually, lies and the liars telling them will be exposed, but that doesn’t deter them. Liars continue to lie because they are liars. That’s what they are, and they will lie until the day they die.
