President Trump Rejects the “Liberal Progressive” Agenda

The New York Times descended into a state of delusion decades ago.
People at the NYT call themselves “liberal progressive”, but they are neither liberal nor progressive.
The NYT’s venom isn’t directed exclusively at Israel as Leah Rosenberg indicates in the article above. It’s directed at anyone who doesn’t buy into the “liberal progressive” orthodoxy that the NYT champions. That includes Prime Minister Netanyahu.
The NYT ceased to be a newspaper a long time ago. Consider, for example, Paul Krugman, the NYT’s Nobel Prize winning “economist”.

It makes no sense, but remember that Barack Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize before he knew where the bathrooms in the White House are located.
When Obama left office after 8 long years, the world was in state of chaos. Peace wasn’t even close.
Obama’s actions as president set off the Arab Spring that resulted in a mass migration of Arabs and Islamists from the Middle East to Western countries. We are still living through that nightmare. The end is nowhere in sight.
Krugman famously predicted that there would be a global markets meltdown if Donald Trump was elected president. Trump was elected, but there was no meltdown. The U.S. economy is booming, and global markets are beginning to reflect something like fair trade after decades of unfair trade where the U.S. is concerned.
Krugman couldn’t have been more wrong. Still, “liberal progressives” swear by him. You have to be blind to reality not to see how wrong “liberal progressives” are.
The NYT owes the world an apology for pimping a narrative rather than reporting facts.
The NYT is still pimping a narrative. That’s why it published the anti-Semitic cartoon below. It’s part of the NYT’s anti-Trump agenda. The Israeli people took it personally, but it’s not aimed at them or at Jewish people. It’s aimed at President Trump. The Israeli people just got in the way. In the “liberal progressive” world, collateral damage is expected, so no apologies are offered most of the time.
When the NYT says “Never Quit”, it means never quit pimping the “liberal progressive” narrative. The NYT hates President Trump because he rejects its agenda.
Decent people love President Trump for rejecting that agenda. In November 2020, the NYT will understand what that means.
“Liberal progressives” in Israel are just like “liberal progressives” in the U.S. They are smug, self-absorbed, and delusional. They don’t know facts. All they know and all they want to know is the “liberal progressive” narrative. They proudly spout it out despite overwhelming evidence that it is way off-base.
Thankfully, “liberal progressives” are an insular breed. They live, work, and socialize together. They hear only their own voices. They live in an echo chamber.
You should see their frustration, anger, and confusion when they are asked to defend their points of view. Most of them are shocked, because in their world, there isn’t another perspective.
In Israel, “liberal progressives” have been working overtime to remove Prime Minister Netanyahu from office. So far, they have failed, and they can’t understand why.
This is why:
Ordinary people are smarter than “liberal progressives”. For the time being, there are enough of them to keep us from walking off the edge of a cliff.
President Trump’s political enemies at home and abroad aren’t gifted enough to know that he is preventing the world from making tragic mistakes from which return is virtually impossible. Prime Minister Netanyahu is doing the same thing in Israel.
“Liberal progressives” may never get it. Waiting for them to get it makes no sense at all.
