Ezekiel 34: 7-10

“Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh: As I live,” declares Adonai Yahweh, “surely because My flock has become a prey, My flock has even become food for all the beasts of the field for lack of a shepherd, and My shepherds did not search for My flock, but rather the shepherds fed themselves and did not feed My flock; therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh: ‘Thus says Adonai Yahweh, “Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will demand My sheep from them and make them cease from feeding sheep. So the shepherds will not feed themselves anymore, but I will deliver My flock from their mouth, so that they will not be food for them.”’”

His Name is Yahweh explains why the Name of God, Yahweh, is so important.  It’s available in eBook format and in paperback.

  • God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘Yahweh, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ This [Yahweh] is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation.” (Exodus 3: 15)
  • “Therefore behold, I am going to make them know—this time I will make them know My power and My might; and they shall know that My name is Yahweh.” (Jeremiah 16: 21)
  • “Behold, the days are coming,” declares Yahweh, “when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; and He will reign as king and act wisely and do justice and righteousness in the land.  In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely; and this is His name by which He will be called, ‘Yahweh our righteousness.’” (Jeremiah 23: 5-6)

Dennis Ross: America’s Responsibility in the New Middle East—There is a good chance the calm that has been restored in Gaza will last for at least the next several months and perhaps longer. Hamas knows that Israel means what it says about a red line and Egypt does as well. Having brokered the cease-fire deal, Egypt has a strong stake in it not breaking down any time soon.

Col. Richard Kemp: Israel, Gaza, and Double Standards— Israel’s choice is stark: put up with terrorist missiles aimed at its civilian population, or attack and risk civilian casualties in Gaza. What do other countries do? Turkey, faced with terrorist attacks by Kurdish separatists, has repeatedly and viciously bombed what it believes to be Kurd strongholds in the sovereign territory of Iraq.

Aaron Zelin: Spoiling the Gaza Cease-Fire— In order for the cease-fire to be sustainable, it must address the role of non-Hamas-aligned militants from Gaza and Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula who have been involved in the attacks as well.

Jonathan Tobin: Obama’s Silence on Egypt Speaks Volumes— Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi may be backing down a bit on his attempt to seize dictatorial powers. The Muslim Brotherhood leader agreed to a limited compromise on his assertion of supremacy over the courts in which he would allow the judiciary to exercise review over his edits. This development testifies to the strength of the protests against Morsi’s attempt to acquire as much power as Hosni Mubarak had during his reign in Cairo.

Ruthie Blum: How Israel is helping Hamas reload— The government is fully aware that a large portion of the millions of dollars Israel sends into Gaza each month is being used for pernicious purposes.

Elliott Abrams: Technology and terror— Years ago, reports said Israel would not be abe to defend itself against missiles, but technology may be able to defeat terror after all, which is good news for the U.S., too.

Yehoshua Sobol: War is not the only solution— War is not a force of nature; it is a product of politicians’ inability to resolve conflicts with negotiations.

Zvika Fogel: Wanted: A clear message from the IDF— The outcome of the test of our deterrence after Pillar of Defense depends on our government’s ability to make bold decisions if its accomplishments are threatened.

Ben Cohen: Time to Challenge the ‘Palestine-Firsters’—Between June and October of this year, Palestinian terrorists in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip launched almost 260 attacks, the vast majority involving rockets and missiles, into Israeli territory. Come this month, and the barrage multiplied considerably, with more than 100 rockets being fired on Nov. 11 alone. But it was only when Israel …

Khaled Abu Toameh: Is Abbas About To Join Hamas?—It now remains to be seen whether Hamas will forgive Abbas for “collaborating” with Israel, and join forces with him.

P. David Hornik: Egypt Erupts as Muslim Brotherhood Seizes Power—Egypt’s President Mohamed Morsi can at least get a prize for brazenness. Just last Wednesday he was being praised by the Obama administration for his “practical” role in working out a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. “This was somebody focused on solving problems,” a “senior administration official” admiringly told the New York Times.

Christa Case Bryant: Why Palestinians are pushing for new status at UN—With no progress on Israeli-Palestinian negotiations in four years, Palestinians are seeking a global mandate for statehood at the United Nations. They hope the bid will revive momentum for a sovereign Palestinian state living alongside Israel.

Cal Thomas: Pharaoh Morsi of Egypt—The diplomatic hosannas for Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi following his brokering of the recent cease-fire between Hamas and Israel…

Bridget Johnson: Is Morsi a Partner or Problem? Yes, Says Armed Services Chairman—When asked this morning on NBC’s Meet the Press whether Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi is a partner of the United States or a problem, the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee simply responded “yes.” “Some of both,” said Sen. Carl Levin (D-Mich.).

Nira Lee: What I Saw During Operation Pillar of Defense— The eight days of Operation “Pillar of Defense” have been some of the hardest I have ever known physically and emotionally.

Ari Lieberman: Pillar of Defense and the Arab Amnesia Syndrome— The latest conflict in the Middle East will serve as fodder for a mass Arab delusion. We’ve seen this many times.

Alana Goodman: Using Journalism as a Cover to Target Israel— In the New York Times today, David Carr claims that Israel is “using war as cover to target journalists” in Gaza. Of course Carr fails to mention that the “journalists” in question were terrorists.

Michael Rubin: Don’t Give Turkey Patriot Missiles— Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu continues to lambaste Israel for fighting back against the barrage of rockets and missiles Hamas launched at Israel in recent weeks and months. “Turkey cannot agree with Obama’s saying that Israel was using its right of self-defense,” Davutoğlu told CNNTürk.

Leadership Action Network: Another Palestinian U.N. Bid—A unilateral declaration (UDI) violates all agreements and further complicates the peace process.

Gilead Sher and Amos Yadlin: Mahmoud Abbas’ UN Gambit will not Bring Peace—Amidst – or perhaps immediately after – the war in Gaza, international attention refocused on the Israeli-Palestinian political arena. On November 29, 2012, the PLO, under Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, is likely to request a United Nations vote on international recognition of Palestine as a “non-member state” (“permanent observer”) of the United Nations, resuming the statehood initiative that began last year. However, the Palestinian bid, if approved, has serious implications for both sides. Moreover, the likelihood that the Palestinian move may even slightly promote a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is slim to none.

Rabbi Yaakov Salomon: World Opinion & Israel—How much does it really matter?

Blessings in the Book of Revelation is a book that you need to read, especially now.  There are blessings throughout the Scriptures but Revelation is the only book in the Bible actually containing a specific blessing for reading it. It’s repeated twice, once at the beginning and again at the end. This is the reason that I believe Revelation should be the first step toward studying biblical prophecy. Though not easy to do, Revelation can be broken down and understood by anyone, not just the academic elite. So, Revelation’s blessings are for everyone.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.

  • Falsely Accused is a true story about a young woman who was accused of committing a double homicide.  It’s about a travesty of justice, and it reveals Yahweh intervening in the life of a believer to rescue her from danger in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.  Everyone will enjoy the book, but young people in particular need to read it because the mistakes made that led to the problem could have been avoided.  They were the kinds of mistakes that young people are prone to make.  As they say, forewarned is forearmed.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.
