Falsely Accused is a true story about a young woman who was accused of committing a double homicide. It’s about a travesty of justice, and it reveals Yahweh intervening in the life of a believer to rescue her from danger in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. Everyone will enjoy the book, but young people in particular need to read it because the mistakes made that led to the problem could have been avoided. They were the kinds of mistakes that young people are prone to make. As they say, forewarned is forearmed.

The Army’s New XM25 Rifle
The new XM25 rifle that was developed for use by the U.S. Army is now ready for use. You can see it in operation in this YouTube video:
Next Generation Weapons: The XM25 Airburst
The XM25 is a semiautomatic, shoulder-held rifle that Lt. Col. Christopher Lehner, project manager for the rifle, calls a “game changer.” According to Lehner, “With this weapon system, we take away cover from [enemy targets] forever. Tactics are going to have to be rewritten. The only thing we can see [enemies] being able to do is run away.”
Watching the video should convince skeptics that Lt. Col. Lehner is correct. The XM25 is a game changer and it will remain a game changer until we outfit our enemies with it. Then our troops will be just as vulnerable to the XM25 as the enemy is.
I bring this up because we have a history of sharing our technology with our enemies while they pretend to be our friends, and we lose any advantage we had when they turn against us. The Israelis in particular need to be concerned because I suspect that Palestinians will demand this weapon in return for helping to advance a “peace agenda.” They’ve done it before. Each time we’ve provided advanced weapons for use by Palestinians, they have made their way into the hands of radical elements that used them against the Israelis. Hoping that things will be different this time around is ridiculous, but that doesn’t mean we won’t do it. The Israelis need to prepare for the inevitable.
It won’t surprise me when/if we make the XM25 available to radical elements in Egypt, Libya, and possibly Syria, for example, who pretend for a moment to be on our side. In short order, I expect the Iranians, the Russians, and the Chinese to have the weapon as well, so its “game changer” status should be short-lived.
This isn’t a pessimistic assessment. It’s a realistic assessment.
