Jeremiah 12: 14-17
Thus says Yahweh concerning all My wicked neighbors who strike at the inheritance with which I have endowed My people Israel, “Behold I am about to uproot them from their land and will uproot the house of Judah from among them. And it will come about that after I have uprooted them, I will again have compassion on them; and I will bring them back, each one to his inheritance and each one to his land. Then if they will really learn the ways of My people, to swear by My name, ‘As Yahweh lives,’ even as they taught My people to swear by Baal, they will be built up in the midst of My people. But if they will not listen, then I will uproot that nation, uproot and destroy it,” declares Yahweh.

Jeremiah 8: 1-3—“At that time,” declares Yahweh, “they will bring out the bones of the kings of Judah and the bones of its princes, and the bones of the priests and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem from their graves. They will spread them out to the sun, the moon and to all the host of heaven, which they have loved and which they have served, and which they have gone after and which they have sought, and which they have worshiped. They will not be gathered or buried; they will be as dung on the face of the ground. And death will be chosen rather than life by all the remnant that remains of this evil family, that remains in all the places to which I have driven them,” declares Yahweh Sabaoth.

We need a president who knows the facts, speaks the truth, and stands by our commitments. Barack Obama is not that person.
“Dithering” means indecisive. It’s a pejorative term, but President Obama’s liberal progressive friends in the media have used it repeatedly to cast his foreign policy missteps in a positive light. They tell us that he’s open-minded and willing to change when circumstances dictate that he should.
The only thing that makes any sense about Obama’s foreign policy strategy is that it makes no sense. He’s committed to only one thing – his own image, and his LP friends in the media are helping him shape the image that he wants the world to see.
“Fast Brain, slow mouth” is the latest attempt to present our president’s strategic blunders in a positive light. LP media luminaries tell us that Obama’s brain is lightning-fast and that he is slow so speak. I suppose they don’t recall Obama’s accusation that a Cambridge policeman was a racist because he was doing his job correctly. On that and many other occasions he spoke first and asked questions later. Never mind the incongruity because it’s irrelevant as far as Obama’s LP media friends are concerned.
Reality doesn’t mesh with the image of our president that they want to project. If it weren’t for Obama’s cultivated image, he would have no substance. He’s an empty suit, a reflection in the mirror.
In the topsy-turvy world of LP journalism where Obama is concerned, image is substance and indecisiveness is resolve. They would make George Orwell and Lewis Carroll proud, but the fact still remains that when it comes to foreign policy our president is a colossal klutz.
President Obama’s latest slip-up took place a week ago when he declared that Israel’s 1967 border should be her permanent border. After a loud outcry from Israel and her friends in the US, Obama backpedaled as best he could, but it was no use. The facts belie his inept explanation that the 1967 border has always been the starting point for negotiations. UN Security Council Resolution 242 says that Israel has a right to defensible borders. It was passed following the Six Day War in 1967, and lots of water has gone under the bridge since then. The articles below provide details about the Israeli border question that any serious person should know:
Dithering in the classic sense is a good description of our president’s decision-making style. He lacks understanding, commitment, and resolve, and despite assurances from Obama’s LP friends in the media, he is not decisive. Even more, nothing he has done suggests that his mind works any faster than his lips. He’s a slow thinker and a slow talker.
Unfortunately for Israel, President Obama’s blunders have serious real world consequences, and his face-saving maneuvers only make matters worse. We need a president who knows the facts, speaks the truth, and stands by our commitments. Barack Obama is not that person.
