Scripture of the day:
Isaiah 44: 5-6—“This one will say, ‘I am Yahweh’s; and that one will call on the name of Jacob; and another will write on his hand, ‘Belonging to Yahweh,’ and will name Israel’s name with honor.’ Thus says Yahweh, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, Yahweh Sabaoth: ‘I am the first and I am the last, and there is no God besides Me.’”

Parts of the school were designed to replicate historic buildings on the grounds where the school was built, including the Cocoanut Grove nightclub. In the warped logic that justifies so many government decisions, somehow a nightclub seemed the perfect environment for a student to learn mathematics and history.”

The Hall of Shame—the 2010 equivalent of the Axis of Evil
People who closely follow happenings in Israel are familiar with the Quartet. The United States, Russia, the European Union, and the United Nations have been charged with forging a peace treaty between Israel and the Palestinians. Judging by what’s actually taking place, the US is the lead dog, so we bear the brunt of the responsibility for whatever happens to Israel as a result of our uninformed, misguided, and nefarious dealings.
Today, I want to introduce you to the Quintet. These men belong in the Hall of Shame because they are the 2010 equivalent of the Axis of Evil. They are doing everything they can to destroy Israel. We ignore them and their evil intent at our own peril because Yahweh will hold us accountable for our actions.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad
Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah
These 5 men are working together feverishly to sabotage peace efforts and to bring about Israel’s demise, and they aren’t shy about saying so:
- Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei: “The supreme leader of Iran described Israel as a ‘cancerous tumor’ during Friday prayer celebrations honoring the late Grand Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.”
- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: “Ahmadinejad repeatedly demonizes the state of Israel and openly calls for its destruction at every opportunity. Most notoriously, he described Israel as a ‘fake regime’ that ‘must be wiped off the map.’”
- Syrian President Bashar al-Assad: “It should be known that Israel is based on treachery.”
- Hamas Chief Khaled Meshal: “Firstly, Hamas is clearly a national liberation movement that has at it roots a ‘resistance’ outlook. Its focus is the liberation of Palestine from Israeli occupation, and the group’s Islamist character complements rather than competes with Hamas’ political objectives. Secondly, Hamas’ resistance of occupation is at the heart of its strategies — be they efforts to reach out and engage, or to take up arms. The strategy may change with evolving regional and global realities, but the group’s objectives stand firm.”
- Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah: “Hezbollah has denounced the Palestinian Authority for launching negotiations with Israel, saying ‘no one has the right to cede a grain of Palestine.’”
It will help you to actually see a map of Palestine that has been prepared and distributed by Palestinians. You will notice that it doesn’t include Israel at all because from their point of view Israel doesn’t exist. For more details, see Palestinian Maps Omitting Israel.
Palestinian Map Showing No Israel
It will also help you to see a map showing Israel surrounded by the Arab world. Look closely. Israel is the tiny sliver in blue.
Given the facts, it’s difficult to understand how the Palestinians have managed to convince the Western world that Israel is the Goliath of the Middle East, but that’s exactly what they’ve done. Israel’s roughly 7 million Jews shrink to insignificance when compared with the more than 300 million Arab Muslims surrounding them. Keep these things in mind as the US under Barack Obama’s inept leadership attempts to force Israel to accept terms and conditions for “peace” that will inevitably lead to serious problems with catastrophic consequences.
Yahweh’s promises concerning the Promised Land are unequivocal. You can see them under Pages in the column on the right in the page titled “Yahweh’s Promises Concerning the Promised Land”. As you read what Yahweh said, remember this promise: “For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; for it will certainly come, it will not delay.” (Habakkuk 2: 3)
HalleluYah!
